So, just got a message this morning saying that Global Launch is almost here and that they will be giving rewards to those of us who stuck around, and the longer we've been playing, then the more rewards we get. I received that message too. Looking forward to the rewards. I think I played my first MA match in late August last year.
Still curious about compensation for players who are going to lose 2nd copies. It’d be smart to hand that out the same time players get their rewards. A teaspoon of sugar………

Just saw the message,yeah I'm a year playing too and it's great they are rewarding us for being their beta testers,still no word on the dual bot compensation or when they intend to implement it, although if global launch is soon I would think it would be imminent.

Just looking forward to the MM being something other than either AI or 1200 - 2500 SP real players... I should not be up against them. That said, I have fought a couple of low SP players that, with the help of killer AI that get top MVP, can still pull out the win... but still... AI deciding who wins is as bad as a bad match up, imo. Hopefully Global Release and an incoming upwards tick of the player population will bring more balanced games. Although, like a clanmate has pointed out, all of the Beta players, especially those of us who have been here long enough to have 6* and above hangars, will still be OP to new players... it just is what it is. But even so, a good team of 4 - 5 * hangars is not a pushover for one 6* hangar if their teammates don't carry their own weight, and I don't think that blowouts will be determined by having just one leveled player... the whole team will have to be good. (Exceptions will occur for some players... the ones that get 30 kills on the regular in a 5 v 5, for example, will probably still carry a team of live players for while.)
EDIT: as concerned as I am for what the consolation prizes are for losing 2nd copies, I am more concerned with playabililty and MM over the long term.
EDIT 2: has anyone seen anything being said about regions? Right now I very rarely, if at all, play against folk that are in the India or the European regions. Once we go global, will we still be separated? I am assuming lag is the main reason we haven't been integrated yet... but damn if we were, MM would be a lot more Real-Person-Centric, already.

looking back I see my first Tournament was the Aug18-Aug24.. cant remember how soon you could qualify to run in one?
Finished GM 3rd place... hah... when being in GM was easy...

Only takes a day or two. The "Buy Juggernaut" and "reach division 9" quests are day 2, and those two make up the prerequisites for tournament. |

I started playing MA around the beginning of October, 2020. So 10 months about. 1000 a-coins per month would be nice. :-D

Aug 9 - 13... wonder if that is a reward a day, or if you are just going to receive your reward within that time frame.
One more time the Dev's lack of clarity is probably going to cause some backlash. I don't really care enough to complain, but I know folks will. If they were clear about what they were planning, even if they left amounts out, it would keep folk chill.
I have seen much better rewards in several games that were just for compensation for a few minutes of server outage. War Robots was the outlier, not the norm. I hope Plarium gets that giving generously makes folk loyal and spendy... being shady and greedy just closes up wallets. Yes, I know it's free... but it really is a pittance for the folk that have been playing long enough to be considered a BETA tester. Guess we'll see what's coming after this, if anything.
Again, it's more than I had before I logged in today and I am really not complaining, personally; but it's not what I would call generous, by any means.
And yes, I got the same reward.

Well that's pretty meehhhhh,the way they made the announcement beta testers were going to get something special,250 A coins for 12 months testing is pretty underwhelming and doesn't fill me with confidence for the upcoming compensation payout.

I doubt we will get more. I think that date range was more for them to be able to dish out the rewards to groups of players at a time to ensure less chance of technical glitches in distribution.
On another note, they're starting to sell the Vault tokens at a discount. 10 for $10 CAD and you can buy it twice. I only bought it once though cause it's still kinda pricey.

It's gonna take time to level out... and the "GIVE ME SATISFACTION NOW!" complaints are with every game. I would say the first 2 - 6 months are going to be a settling in period for the MM as more people play and build their hangars. Whales, of course, will skyrocket up the food chain, but most folk will have to work on it and gather resources. MM is going to be Wild Wild West, if left as it is, till then. I really do think they messed up by not segregating MM more, before now. They could have gone super simple with it, too... 2500 and up is probably as generous as I would go with mixing SPs at the top. 3K and up would be better... but realistically, if they did implement something, it would probably be 2K and up lol. Below that, maybe have them separated in 500 SP increments. Of course there would be folks that try to Min/Max, but so what? Address that as it comes. They could also keep letting XP separate within those SP brackets. A 50K XP player with 1200SP is still going to struggle against a 250K XP player with the same hangar, so... keep that from happening.
Of course Smurfs will be a thing, too... but again, not as bad as what we have now. I went up against a squad, pretty recently, that didn't have any player above 1200. I have a 3600 SP hangar at the moment. I killed them all with Zep Arc 10 + Carb 10. One mech. That shouldn't happen.
CPC is a little different since Beacons can change the entire thing... but for TDM/Tourney, there REALLY needs to be some better placed barriers.

According to the stats Foggy is showing on his YT Community posts, yes. A large uptick in downloads as of at least a week ago. It was a very soft launch, apparently.
