I did work at a Tyson chicken plant, but I got fired yesterday. I'll miss the income but don't mourn the loss of the ?poo-poo?ty job. Sorry to hear it..Maybe something better is soon coming your way. I did a controls system install at one if those places once in my younger years. I worked at a tech company back then.

John Deere Tech, it's getting hot and busy in lower Alabama.....hence my low cups lately. Some days I don't get out of my steel toes before I'm dozing off. Actually fell asleep with my dinner in my lap last night, lol.

I grew up in farm country. The family farm is long gone. As far as I know the old Oliver 88 went with it too. It had a rousing 40hp, but did great in the rows. It's amazing how long that stuff can last if it's not abused or neglected.

I work for service hours. It's a required thing for my school, I'm not a delinquent The more you explain the more Im beginning to suspect you're a delinquent ? As for me, of late I started pretending to work for a property development firm (in the business development arm) when in fact I'm just visiting this forum most of the time when no one is looking. Im guessing @n4fox is also pretending to be mechanic...I mean did you guys see the sheer amount of near nekid pics he's been posting? Lol Im telling ya, forums are evil ?

Haha..I just have fine taste. Normally more than I can afford in material things. As for posting the girl pics. That again reflects my fine taste lol. I appreciate beauty in many forms, especially a fine female. Photography is another hobby I have. I take allot of nature & car pictures. The car pics are because of my line of work. Check out my Instagram if anyone else is into photography, I'll follow you back. I'm actually pretty quiet and keep to myself. Main focus is my family and kids.

I've been an auto mechanic since 1991. Mitsubishi, Kia, and Subaru senior master tech, did time at BMW, and Hyundai,
I love fixing cars!!
what I hate is how I get paid (flat rate), the dealership idiocracy, manufacturer warranty times, managers that have never picked up a wrench who bungle along running a shop full of techs, out of touch owners, customers who try and lie/cheat their way into free stuff, the customer satisfaction index survey questions that are on a scale of 1-10 but anything less than 10 is failing for us, the customers who bomb us on that survey because we don't offer free fecking Starbucks and handmade pastries,
War Robots is my therapy, I envision those arse hats playing on the red side, and I then proceed to unleash a few million rounds on them and feel better the next morning when I head back to the shop to get pissed off all over again.
I'll grab a pic tomorrow and post it up...

I'm in IT. Systems Architect with some scripting and tier 3 support, as needed. Just a pair of monitors at a desk. Nothing fun to look at.

You know, It's not a big thing to just read the documents I wrote for the software I wrote for you. I mean, you could at least scan them over before you install and try to make it run. I know, you've been in IT since the Dawn Of Time, and you know how it all works, but it really is an insult that you asked me to spend my time writing docs then don't bother to read them.

As someone who writes software for a living, I won't read your docs if I can read your code. But I will read your docs if I can't. I have started putting very random things into my documentation. Facts about cheese, are personal favorites. Once after writing a rather large technical document based on product requirements I threw in a line that there would be a "free candy bar" to any one who said "Alabama" before the meeting started. When no one took me up on the offer, the first thing I did was point out the line in the document and canceled the meeting till people had bothered to read it.

. Got out of the army in 1970 and went straight to school and 4 years later I had my BSEE (electrical engineering) . I landed a decent job at a major telecom company in their engineering department and retired from there 38 years later. My job was fun most of the time and I occasionally got to travel to several Asian and European countries on company business. After retirement I continue to work in a program in conjunction with the Humane Society to eradicate puppy mills and I also raise service dogs for children and adults with disabilities.

I oversee an engineering division. Interesting work, but lots of problems to attend to--LOL, thank god I've got ADHD so I tend to thrive in stressful situations.
Need a holiday though...

Attachment DeletedThat's me in red knocking dude out.. Before the Army, I studied, taught and fought professionally in a Martial Art called Wing Chun Kung fu. I studied under the GREAT Grandmaster William Cheung. Direct student and heir to our style, of Yip Man (might have seen the movies) and Bruce Lee's senior trainer and fighter in Yip Man's school. Attachment DeletedMe on far right... GM William Cheung seated, far left my fight coach and teacher and GM Cheung's top fighter Sifu Anthony Arnett. After I got hurt in the Army, I was unable to train as hard and as much as I did before, so I stepped out of ISKA full contact fighting and NASKA and NBL matches.... Attachment DeletedFortunately you don't have to run 5 miles a day, gain and drop weight, and train 7 days a week to pull a trigger, so I've done some contract and volunteer stuff in the military occupation so to speak... Most recently and most extensively in the effort to eradicate Daesh (ISIS) from the face of the Earth, providing various forms of support for Western groups.. Kurdish groups like YPG and Peshmerga... And Assyrian groups like Dwekh Nawsha. Oh yea, and when I'm not doing all that Im a single parent with 3 Sicilian daughters. Who will cut you of you piss em off.

Been working at an outdoor equipment rental shop at the local military base since June 2006. But now I feel like I'm well past burnout phase.
I got my BA in Japanese at the end of 2011, but haven't officially applied it to any career. However, being a former exchange student it has helped break the ice when JASDF personnel come on their three-week assignment every summer. But yeah, I speak Japanese.
Things are turning into a fuster-cluck at work lately now that it's spring. So I'm in a bit of a dilemma, whether to stay and ride out the storm for another summer, or to look for another job ASAP.
Either way, War Robots helps me unwind at the end of the day, regardless how the work day went.

After the Army I went to a technical school with the worst name ever, UTI. After getting certified to work on auto & diesel I ended up getting a desk job as an Analyst with the Department of Transportation. I went from working in a bay to working in a cubical. I still kind of work on cars but in a completely different way. The work is boring but the pay and benefits are awesome. Plus my four years in the Army count towards my retirement with the DOT. Hoping to be retired before the age of 50. I still turn wrenches on the side but it's only for karma. My church has been great to me. When I was in between jobs, waiting for a surgery and just struggling they would bring me food, cut my grass, watch my son while I was at appointments. So as a way of giving back I do preventive maintenance work for its members. Oil changes, brakes, belts, tire rotations, 100 point inspections, second opinions, anything and everything I can to save them money. Yeah... ask anyone from the medical field what UTI stands for. UTI is something you get from a wild night in Thailand without a protection. Then again it could be worse you could have graduated from the University of North Texas and then have this mug as a graduation present.

I work at an electric/power company 3-5 days a week. I'm off every Tuesday and Friday and weekends if I don't feel like working (but I get more money for working on weekends). I actually don't do much work. It's a stress-free job where they don't want employees to stress out and make mistakes (a few people used to die every year due work overload).
