I see many War Robots players are old enough to have jobs & work. What do you do? How's work today? I'm mostly a mechanic. I work in auto restoration. I do have a lot of hobbies though. Here's a pic of work today.

I'd like to get in on the 'showcase your workplace' deal, but as I don't currently work (I can't...other than abled), I cannot. Should make for an interesting thread, though.

Here's a pic of work today. Wow... Just wow, is this garage in the United States? I see a few Porsches, but the two red cars in the forefront, are those MGs? Awesome dude. I got an undergraduate in Geology two years ago and was a Project Engineer for a paving company for about a year and a half. I recently located back home to West Texas and I plan to teach Middle School or High School science, math, or career & technology type of courses... I test for my teaching certification a week from now. Ultimately, I want these kids to have an easier time in life than I did and to not waste time after high school.

Alfa Romeos - V nice to look at but had a reputation on dissolving on contact with water ;-)

Dredd77 Nice Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. History buff here, no sinister motive for my noticing. I pinky promise.

Paps Same, been in love with history all my life. Even got myself a nice, fancy-schmanzy history degree at UConn...and proceeded to do absolutely nothing with it for the next couple decades.

Nice, haha. If I wasn't concerned I'd waste it, I wouldn't mind goin to school for historical-type stuff. The school environment, also, didn't appeal to me before. Probably wouldn't do any better now.

Paps A college degree has been invaluable for my career path since then. But...it coulda been in Basket Weaving for all that the actual subject has mattered. Jobs are happy you have it, for the most part.

I work in Real Estate finance - no flashy cars to share in here - just desks and spreadsheets. All's quiet on the floor here today. I visit the forum during the workday, but draw the line at actually playing the game on company time. Cheers. Attachment Deleted

What @heavypanda omits from this high-falutin' moralizin' is that he considers bathroom breaks to be 'off the clock', and takes 7-10 of them a day. #WRinStallThree

I am in electronics. I can't post pictures, because I signed some papers, prohibiting this. Sorry... No, I do not do weapons, or stuff like that. It is just the policy of our industry.

I'm an industrial automation engineer specialized in process analyzers. Managing projects doing design, negotiations, whatever is needed My office is a place of chaos and strange papers that have life of their own. For sake of mental health and work safety it's better to keep me isolated

But it is nice to have a neat job.

Been retired for 10 years. So I putter around with my garden, fish, backpacking trips along the Appalachian trail, annoy the kids and their kids. Hang around with dangit working on old jalopies, volunteering for community projects, plus we do the other stuff I mentioned.

I did work at a Tyson chicken plant, but I got fired yesterday. I'll miss the income but don't mourn the loss of the 「dookie」ty job.
