I play Scrabble Go, but that doesn't take that much time Some Japanese rpgs are huge time sinks though. I uninstalled a couple because of that.

I just shelved my Guardian for awhile and put Juggy back in with CB8+10. It’s just a more reliable build for me than SB16/CB8 on the Guardian. My CB12’s are on Panther #1, so I really don’t have another good cqc setup to put on the Guardian. I can’t think of any situations where this build would really excel. Yes, it’s crash ability disables enemy abilities; but I find the opportunities to take advantage of that very few and far between. Consequently that makes it my least-used mech, usually the last one to come out when everything else has been trashed. That’s basically a wasted hangar spot. Juggy with CB’s is good for saving beacons in danger of being turned, or helping out in a charge for turning a red beacon. It is exactly what they call it - a tank. And it’s useful on the tighter TDM maps as well. I actually got a MVP with it today after a string of crappy games.
If I ever get another good weapon set for Panther #1 (Panther #2 is Thanos build), then I’ll think about putting the big CB’s on the Guardian. But that’s not likely to happen any time soon. I’m in no hurry to do a second Thanos build - I’m still too hot and cold with the one I have. I could maybe try dual SB12’s as a third EN24 build, but the second one of those is still a long way off. So we’re rolling with Juggy again for the time being.

Well, the Guardian is back. Here’s why. Juggy still has a special place in my heart. But … at the suggestion of somebody in the discord group, I decided to try the SB16/TL6 build on a Panther. And I’m really liking it. That freed up dual CB12s for the Guardian, which I’ve now found is also a pretty nice fit - better than SB16/CB8. The new Panther build has been getting me almost regular MVPs, mostly by assists, with a few more kills. And then the first time using the CB Guardian build, I spawned it on a center beacon surrounded by 3 reds, popped the system crash, and proceeded to kill two of them and soften up the third for a teammate. That mech ended up taking top MVP … its first time out. So it earned back its spot in the active hangar.
Here’s the current lineup: Zephyr w/ MR8’s Killshot w/ jav6’s Panther w/ SB16 + TL6 Panther w/ Thanos Guardian w/ CB12’s
Everything needs leveling now, so that’s where all resources will be going, starting with the TL6 and Zephyr that are only R4.4. Once I get everything up to R5, maxing out Killshot & javs will probably be next. Then we’ll see what the next priority is. But for the foreseeable future, I’m done acquiring stuff.

On yesterday's, I have found KS MR 8 to be my best performer. There are some awesome places for an MR 8 KS to both snipe from, and to ambush/surprise from, on that map. I should have recorded the matches... but I was in a stupor this weekend. Too much going on.

I should have recorded the matches... but I was in a stupor this weekend. Too much going on. I don’t switch up much, because I never know what I’m gonna get invited to. And I generally dislike tourney and just don’t feel like putting forth the effort. I’m set up mainly for CPC, but this hangar does pretty well now on most tourney maps, too. Except against humans on yesterday’s map. Actually against humans in general. I don’t know what happens - I just have entire games where I’m always in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong mech and weapons, and I just can’t get ANYTHING going, getting killed more often than not before I can kill anything. I have zero defense against mortars and javs, and zero offense against campers. Then I get pissed off, and everything from there just goes to crap, and my wife starts yelling at me for cussing at the game, which really helps the situation a lot. It gets really, really frustrating, because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong to even begin to try to correct it. Just too much going on for my old brain to keep track of at once, I guess.
