The only thing I don't like about this ad is how the mechs actually look in relation to the actual game. The ad also seems to be using their pre-alpha naming conventions. Killshot is named Zephyr, Brickhouse has a shield.
If they did the same high fidelity animation with the mechs closer to their actual in game designs I'd be all for it.
Wouldn't even be much of a change, just less emphasis on them having elongated arms. They could still keep a more complex hardpoint girdle to embellish it a bit, just not full arms lol

I wish the Lancer could move like that though! If it did and could run on walls like in COD, then I would definitely play it more.
The announcer voice in the ad was pretty cool too. Made the ad feel like something out of Battle Angel Alita when she was playing Motorball.

Looks like someone doesn't like Chinese martial arts epics... Their movements are more of an exaggeration of their ability to move through physical space. Even though things like weight, momentum, and grip strength are exaggerated, their body mechanics are still pretty sound. |
