Due to some recent weapon wins, I'm thinking of shaking up my hangar a bit. Looking for thoughts. First is taking the 2.12 Stings off my Raven and replacing with 1.9 Magnetars. Keeps the 600m range, adds lockdown, but requires slightly better aiming precision.  This frees up those Stings to go on my Hades with a 1.9 Hornet, replacing my Glacier/Rime setup (which works okay but the range is short).  And then I'm thinking I'll replace the 2.12 Taran (350m range) with a Scorcher (500m range, but I still need to level it up to 1.9 at least).  |

And someday it'd be neat to try a Sting/Magentar Blitz, maybe.  |

I can see all that working. Two things: 1. The weapons mismatch on your Typhon hurts my soul. 2.Do you have the 600m pilot for the Hades?

1. I know...it makes me twitch a little too but the thing is, even with the Taran on there, three of the four are 500m weapons, three of the four are maxed out, and (important, this) they have different reload/cooldown cycles. Continuity of fire is valuable. 2. No, I don't, but all that means is the build is a LITTLE less optimal. The Hades weapon shoots blanks some of the time anyway. |

I just realized that the change to the Hades setup is going to make the lockdown chip function go away. Gotta rethink that.

I’d go the the magnetar on the hades, I’d think you’d find the full corrosion build problematic. Typhon build should be solid, and I’d be really interested to see what would happen should you win a 2nd. But I will just say that’s a lot of range in your hangar

Weapons are the damage makers but I've usually dropped the Hades when the Titans are coming out, because it's really easy to freeze down and stop an Arthur or Minos in its tracks with the icer Hades and T3 lockdown chip. It'll be worth experimenting on. |

Magnetar/Hornet Hades is a good build. I kept the Lockdowner chip in and I'm not sure which is generating LD faster, the Magnetars or the chip, but it's still working. The Magnetars are L9 and I've got the Hornet going to L8 at the moment... hopefully to L9 before the end of Upgrade Overdrive. It's cool that now I have three good Hades builds to choose from...ice, Tempest/Molot, and Hornet/Magnetar. |
