I’m having too much fun in tdm trolling with a shart train leech. They come after ya and I lure them to team mates. They think when my ability ends they have me but max last stand and PS just reel them in.
Anyways, to the point. If I switch to LD ammo can it lock down the people who get hit by the reflect too?

Yes it will! I remember seeing 4-5 reds locked down if hangin’ together by 1 ST burst.
What I no longer know for sure is if ST is worth upgrading, if it is still effective vs. meta du jour.

I believe drone effects like freeze and suppression also carry through the chain damage. Not so good vs shells these days and they don’t pack the punch they used to, but yes they can be evil troll weapons because “if I can just get close enough they don’t have sustained fire and I can kill that pest!”

I thought I tried this when ld3ammo came out amenities would only ld my target.
If this what you're saying is the case I will be bringing my ST out of mothball

They did receive a buff a few updates ago. If you have the time and resources, they're a good source of battle giggles. Sometimes you can take half an opponents health with one shot, which is fun. I like to imagine the Reds shouting "what the 「fluffernutter」 was that?" when I blast 'em. They're rare enough that many don't know what they are in the heat of battle and those that do are a bit surprised at the sighting. It's like triggering their PTSD.

When I vaporize a red with Orkan Spec Stuka attack, I almost see a look of dismay, as if they have never seen something like that before! God bless the newer, magic era players!

I already had some from the old spectre days so I slapped them on. It’s not devastating but it’s great fun. A stinking scorpion was hiding the other day so I bounced one off his team mate and finished him off. Too much fun.

Waaaay back when I started playing these were the most hated weapons in the game.
The worst part is when Shocktrains become prevalent on the battlefield you end up staying away from your teammates which discourages teamwork.
