Would you believe its almost 20 years ago that the first MechAssault game was released for the first generation XBox? You could say its the prototype and the granddaddy of the third person casual mech cruncher.

I didn't like this game when I first started playing. I thought it was a very dumbed down version of Mech Warrior. But, with no other options around at the time, I slowly grew to love it. I especially oved running around in the battle suit and hijacking mech! Or running around as a human and laying down mines and hoping not to get squished!
