Except that its not joke. Mech Arena is indeed brought to you by Raid Shadow Legends. Or at least by the company behind Raid Shadow Legends. Maybe if you didn't know, both games are from the same company. plarium.com/There is a good and a bad side to it, but the good side likely outweighs the bad. This means there is a big and successful game company behind the game with substantial resources. This also means if they are willing, they can advertise and market the game like nuts. The bad side is mainly for Pixonic, as there is a now a bigger company that can take them in head on, in practically the same genre. Alright, Azur Interactive who did Robot Warfare ain't a small one either and Pixonic managed to stay ahead of them. But Plarium would be a definite threat to Pixonic. This isn't a small independent attempt like Battle of Titans. Plarium is an Israel based company with Israeli and Russian cofounders, with studios in Israel, Russia and the US. The Russian connections to the company points to gunning for the Russian games market, which is replete with vehicular shooters. The market is full of young companies looking to gun down older established ones. Pixo is aware that their backs have been marked with a targeting reticle on this one. Competition is always good. It means they will always need to claw harder and keeps them a bit more honest.
