I started playing MA 6 months ago and have this in my hangar: Panther with MR8s, Killshot with Jav6 both setups 5 star. Also Juggernaut with rpg 6, Guardian with MR6s and Ares with a lone Carb 12. I have SB 16 and RM12 available to use. What would be a good setup from all this to get max damage in deathmatch or maybe cpc.

Yes, much of the time I use one bot, Panther with MR8s. Today is a 3 bot day it seems, though I did start with Jugg for the event. Usually start with either Panther or Killshot. Maybe I can go from shooting beside cover to a brawl style, to get more damage. I will lose more bots though. I was wondering if Missile Racks might pile up more damage, on one bot anyway, Guardian or Panther. Time to experiment some. What I listed are my best weapons/bots. I have others I dont use much.

I would look at using the MR8s, Carb12 and SB16, also long arms might get you there on the right map

I got over 470,000 in a tournament that went for 3 rounds. If you win the first, do damage but throw the second, then win the third, it’s not too hard to get there.

Both times that I did this, I went to 3 rounds in the match. So at the very least, try to lose one of the rounds while doing a ton of damage. Honestly though, both times I was surprised when I got the achievement as I wasn't even thinking about it and just trying my best to have fun.

Fwiw I have found that Panther with Carb12 and RM12 is marvelously effective. It kills reds close in with the Carb and at mid to long range with RM. I really enjoy using it. Plus Panther can roll out its electric stun fence. Dont know that it gives me more damage, but it's fun to play with.

Plus Panther can roll out its electric stun fence. Dont know that it gives me more damage, but it's fun to play with. There are some good, not often used, combos out there. Not surprised yours did well... but I definitely wouldn't have thought to use it. I can see it doing very well for CPC, and any Tourney maps that have no ceiling.
This is part of what I like, so far, about this game. I can run just about anything I want to and, as long as it is leveled appropriately, can still hold my own, or even excel, doing so.
Thermal Lance combos are one that I see a lot of folk trying, lately... and I am too, right now. TL 6 especially... TL 4 needs to be upgraded a good bit for any real Overheat use. Have tried a few things and it pretty much works for everything... plus you are debuffing Reds for your Blues to take advantage of, as well.
RM 12 + Jav 6 is a good one to try, if you haven't.
I ran a shadow with a MR 8 + SG 4 for a while and it was damned useful. Just took it out to try some "support tank" builds on both Jugs and Ares, but I am going to keep that one in mind to bring back in... especially for squad CPC matches.

I want the MA devs to come out with a chainsaw weapon, maybe en 6 and 8. I did so enjoy the chainsaw gun in Gears of War. XD Imagine KS or Shadow with one, or even two? Lol.

As an update to the Original Post's question... I just had a CPC match testing out a Tank Support build, using a Jug with CB 10 + TL 6. Managed to stay in that mech the whole time and ended up with over 400k. I normally don't pay attention to damage but since this thread happened, I've been doing so, more. I think the TL 6 + CB 12 would be more than capable of breaking the 470k barrier. If not by staying in that mech the whole time like I did, at least by pushing a LOT of damage pretty steadily, before switching to another high damage build. I def didn't expect that score, but I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
Also: This was the first game of the day in CPC, so the AI was soft... that may be another aspect to this if this task comes back around. Trying to go hard against the first few, low SP games should help reach that goal.
Anyway... Just a thought!
