I know the Redfiend guide states the best one to open is the 10 vault keys one. However, I've been looking at this area and I suggest most first go with the 5 key vault. That is until you have acquired all of the RARE type skins for all bots. The percentage chance that a RARE skin will drop in a given vault is fixed. On the 5, it is 30.0%, on the 10, it is 30.3%, and on the 20, it is 30.1%. I have done several 5 key pulls to and only have one RARE skin to go for the brickhouse. I will post screenshots later once I am able to get that last skin. My guess is that this 30 percent will then increase the drop rate of other and better skin types and also the Credits and/or A-coin drop rates. Until they are cleared out, you have this high rate of getting these RARE skins so why spend 10 or 20 keys when you can get them for 5? |

What I do is I don't open any vaults until the progress bar is back and I get that guaranteed mid point A-coin reward. I think It's like 400 A-coins. Then, I'll likely open just enough to get 500 marks - so spend 50 keys. This way, I get all the rewards guaranteed, and if I happen to get more A-coins during the openings, it's a bonus. This way of thinking works for me cause I know I'll get something for sure, and the other times, I'm saving and saving my keys. This time round, I got up to 89 keys before I spent the 50 and got the BH skin. Heck, I don't even have a Brickhouse but what the heck right? This left me with 39 left and I'm saving my keys until the next time the Fortune Vault progress bar is back.

Getting all those prizes is a good thing but they are acquired by opening Fortune Vaults. Each vault has a set of items that are randomly returned. The 5, 10, and 20 key vaults all have rare skins as possible wins and they occupy a significant chance in all vaults so before spending more keys to open the 10 or 20 vaults, it is a good idea to get all of the rare skins acquired first. The best way to do that is to maximize the chances at them by opening the 5 key vaults. Here are pics of the percent chances from the 5, 10, and 20 key vaults now that I only have 1 remaining rare skin to get. My guess is that once I get that last rare skin, the odds of getting the Exotic and Prototype skins along with the Credit and A-Coin chances will all go up.    |

I did run the 5 vault until i narrowed down the rare skins a little, but still like the 10 vault since the rate for the Rare skin is the same but you have less risk of pulling the 6500 and 12500 credit prize. Each skin is worth at least 75K credits or 750 Acoins 5 Vault  10 Vault  |

The risk is worth it IMHO. For my pulls from the 5 key vault, I only got that credit total once but got like 4 of the RARE skins taken off the list but the odds of getting 6500 credits or a RARE skin are essentially the same. But once they are gone, the 10 and 20 key vaults will most likely increase the odds of getting credits or A-coins for there on out.

I did get back to back Acoins from 10 vault, which was nice, but will give it a try more. can't wait for no rare skins 😁 |

IDK what's better, have tried both... but I pulled 5 10 key chests today and got only one skin... the rest was 25k credits... which, I am not upset by, at all. I constantly need both credits and A Coins so the 10 key has been a happy place for me... rainbows and butterflies all the way.
I am very NOT concerned with efficiency, however. Just saying that the potential rewards if you don't get a skin are more to my liking in the 10 key chest. Not trying to get the skins emptied out anymore... at least, once I realized that it hardly ever lands on one, anyway. *Shrug* That said... if y'all are saying that the 5 key chest adds Unicorns to the Rainbows and Butterflies... I will pinky swear to do it. I like happy places.

Another huge benefit from getting rid of the Rare skins is Acoin prizes replace what would of been skins during loot rush. This is a vid from Scape211 showing what happens when you get rid of your rare skins. Sweet!  |

Of course adding a new Mech also added additional paints and skins for it but I now have the rare skins and all the paints for the Redox. Did not take too long and only a few 5 key pulls.
