Well I think I'm done with War Robots. Haven't played a game in 2 weeks and I miss it 0%. The announced nerf to the Atomizers completely killed my enthusiasm and now that I've not played for a bit, I don't really know what was the point of playing in the first place. There are just so many things wrong with this game. Such potential, so much waste smh
Anyways, thanks for all the interesting conversations I've had on hear, chaps and chappettes. It's been real!

Well, come on over to Mech Arena! Maybe I'll check it out at some point. For now, Raid: Shadow Legends has grabbed my attention even though it's a completely different type of game. |

Ciao! Sucks, but I had a feeling you'd go that way. I'd held out hope that maybe you'd develop your own FU hanger and re-find the fun.

Same here OP in relation to "The announced nerf to the Atomizers completely killed my enthusiasm". Then the disinterest in War Robots materialized. Cant get new gear from the workshop for like a year or until it is nerfed. Anything that is available is lagging behind the meta of the time. Whats the point of putting effort into upgrading obsolete gear. Playing with gear thats over a year or two old and i am finding the game boring.
So much so that i log on every 3rd day to play in squad with friends and that is about it.
The water is getting too hot for this frog and it is about to jump out. Things wont change. It will keep going in the same monetization direction.
But i think the bottom line is that i find the game boring. Even if i was to buy the latest gear it wouldn't change that opinion atm.

I will agree that the current state of the game is lower than crap. I mean...FIVE ? maps are out of rotation, and the runaway power differential is beyond ridiculous. The only reason I persist is because of my freaky fun bot choices tbh.

I came back after a 9 month break, and now really enjoy the game, especially after being pushed into Champs being placed in Expert!
The breaks are a good thing, my friend.
Keep in touch, and come back when ready. I downloaded the app, and collected some Ag for a month before I had my first battle, lol.....if you don’t delete, just collect free for a bit....it adds up!

I saw so many ads for that game that I lost interest and thought it was just another dungeon crawler type of game. Well it's the first of this type of game I play. Apparently it's very similar to Summoner Wars. It's got nice graphics but the actual gameplay is pretty simplistic. The real depth of the game is in how you kit out your champs and build your teams. There are a lot of cries about how it's P2W but since the amount of interaction with other players is limited to the Arena (which is filled with bots) and tournament (which are optional to participate in), it's really not a big issue like it is in War Robots, where players whaling out will have a direct detrimental impact on your own enjoyment of the game. The main source of frustration is the fact that your champions require "books" to unlock the full effectiveness of their skills and said books are in extremely short supply so you need to marshall your resources extremely carefully if you want to progress as F2P. I have a solid stable of good champs myself already but a sizable section of them are sitting on the bench because I don't have the books to make them useable (and to a lesser extent, enough silver to upgrade their gear). |
