2 v 2 TDM sounds like a quick fix to too many ai complaints. Either need more population, better mm to match up real players, or improve the ai.
Have no interest in 2 v 2 TDM

Did I hear them say more than once they want to make sure things they consider don't break the balance and game play.. Feels so weird after the abuse we were use to..
I don't know if I can trust this kind of honesty..

I wouldn't mind a 2v2 cause it would make it easier for teamplay. I can see Brickhouses dominating this mode as well as things like Zephyrs, Guardians and MDs.

Quick Take: * Not a word about Clans. -_- No "nay", "yay", or "it'll be out this day." Damnit. * 2 v 2 has potential for fun, especially once Clans come out and you want to have inter and intra clan competitions between players... but very curious how it fits in in their mind.
-CPC is your division ladder mode... determines MM, token awards, etc.
-TDM is your resource pool... do well in heats and you can get some good loot to upgrade.
-2 v 2 prolly won't count in division ranking, and unless they add a whole other tournament for that mode, will be just "a mode". Wonder what their thought, there, is? Disc Launcher sounds fun... I can see a lot of maps that would make that thing into a killer weapon if it's developed right. I want more maps for CPC. Not too worried about 2 v 2 other than it takes away development for what I consider the most fun mode... CPC. (Mini Rant type thing to follow: Beacons and teams are what it's about to me. I also want Tournament to randomize the week's maps every day, not 1 map per day... damnit. Keep limiting them to the map sets that they do, already, but just rotate through them all week for each heat. Would help with the tediousness of Tourney grinding.)
Agreed about the flashback to the great Stanislav Phildoson, mechtout . I do miss that guy though... and kinda liked his cooking channel lol! He seemed like a fun dude... just working for the wrong folk. |
