Anyone know how the Longarms damage is calculated when less than optimal range? I noticed I am still getting occasional full damage when shooting reds at less than 105 range, even up close. It will rotate between 55% damage to full damage, but seems like more than half the time you can get full damage.

mechtoutListed damage on the stats screen is the base damage of each projectile. Long Arm and Railgun scale wierd with their "optimal" and "critical" damage multipliers, probably because of the damage per projectile. Instead of being +- base projectile damage(Like every other weapon) it's on scale. LA's seem to stick to their base damage between 45M and 105M, lose about 40% of their damage on average below 45M, and scale damage up to 180% between 105M and 180M depending on actual range. Ex: 4799 listed damage. Without Overheat proc'ing: 4.8k @ 45-105M 2.8K - 4.5K @under 45M 4.8K - 7.9K @105m+
