I tried Jaegar on Sam stone evolife task. I must say it is a worst bot with lot of bugs. My bot mostly gets stuck and then I will not be able to move it anywhere.
Apart from that what’s the use of spider bot which can’t even climb walls and stones in a map ? 😋

Ops Pass is still a good value for the currency resources, but the rest has generally been just filler. In my opinion, the resources should be standard at the Pass level of resources for free and the paid track should have 2 bots, 2-4 weapons and one or two LPs. Also, it should be 40 days again. I would definitely consider buying it then. |

I thought this one would have event tokens, oh well. At this point it’s all about diminishing returns. The resources are always great, but if you’re not struggling or making do then this one is super easy to pass on

I wouldn't want the new Gauss type weapons on Jaeger... I'd want them on Legendary Pilot Hades
bot is kinda meh. Fury moves around fine with 3 heavy. Behemoth is king of firepower. Even Raijin has more going for it because it can do more than a sniping build, it has bastion which is basically 2.66 heavy, and the strong shields will outlast the aegis.
The pro seems to be that it has some aegis and can trade blows with other snipers. I don't really have the numbers on the bot.. like I don't remember how the aegis works, or what speed it has, base armor, special pilot skills, etc. But overall it is very limited in scope *cough*

They promptly went into the museum and I swear I've been lucky to see 1, maybe 2 in the past 100 matches.

I pass on the Jaeger. I don't like spider bots with the exception of "Invader". "Solid Jaeger" doesn't appeal to me even with the extra durability. I'm not impressed with the "boxsie" design either. It's Pixonic's attempt to get players to purchase "operation pass" before year's end.

Lol I already got Jaeger from last event's special prize and its ok. coughs*. Overall even though Bastion 2.0 (Solid Jaeger) looks pretty sweet, I do not recommend it. Its built d in weapon always misses somehow (like Tsar) the ageis shield sucks, and the health, I'm not going to even mention it. Also if you go down a hill or ramp or fall off of something, your legs will literally just bend the opposite way and break, leaving you stuck on the ground. The only good thing about it is its speed for a sniper in general. Its a little slower than Raker (dunno if I spelled that right though).

When this Spider was released I envisioned a Super Spider bot that is being released made from the creativity of all the positive features of previous Spiders but alas from reading this thread obviously not so. I’ve seen a few but they haven’t been impressive as I’ve watched them in battle. From what I understand the Jaeger, becomes effective when you’ve leveled it up significantly and have the right modules and pilot skills. A bit like rhe Cerberus which is pretty meh out of the box, but becomes very effective with a bit of tinkering. I have one which I am slowly leveling up in my backburner WS (i.e. I upgrade it when I am low on silver and need a few days to generate Ag to upgrade higher level bots I am using). If I get the Solid Jaeger, then I might switch over to upgrading that. I have the red legendary paint job for the regular Jaeger and for me that is the best looking Jaeger. The main reason I am upgrading one is that I expect it to get a fairly significant buff at some point. |

As package with 2 Vipers, keys, gold and PT, the Vipers are the best of the lot. IMO the best heavy weapon after Nucleon right now. I would buy it if I didn't have 3 Vipers already. And the Jaeger doesn't really look like a fun bot. The Wiki doesn't even have an entry for it.
I might change my mind, but that looks like another pass from my side. Maybe if I win a Behemoth in the SC and need to more Vipers, but what are the chances of that?
