Disgusting!
The 100 ticket chest used to be the perfect thing for scoring 6Pack legal weapons and bots.
Rhinos, Galahads, Carnages, plasma weapons, you name it, the 100 ticket chest was the place to go for all your expensive 6P needs!
Now, it's fairly swimming in pilots and chips. Chips I cannot even sell!
It's going to be even harder now to complete my set of Butches.

Many of us enjoy the simpler times of old and want to create a controlled environment to mimic that as closely as possible. A bot like Raven would dominate over the currently legal bots, meaning checks and balances would need to be brought in that would significantly increase 6 pack’s complexity. 6 pack is meant to be an accessible 2017 time capsule, not a watered-down version of the live server. |

People harped on the silver chest in particular for containing “useless” items, and that issue has been essentially fixed with the few prize distribution. 'They' is the 6 Pack community and so far in 6 Pack's history only the Bolt and Gust have passed votes to be included while the Storm, Vortex and AQ have all been tested and then defeated in the vote. In order to get in, new equipment would need to fit into the 6P meta, not usurp it. Raven, for example, would singlehandedly eliminate the Griffin as a bot choice in League play, and likely other bots as well such as the Rogatka due to it's double jump and damage bonus. It's never getting in. 6 pack is best thought of as a time capsule to December 2016, when all that was needed in Walking War Robots was slight tweaks to the hangar based MM. Ah, well. |

Everyone in 6 pack knows that they are not on Pixonic’s priority list one bit, OP was an announcement with a bit of satire sprinkled in. Cdr. Crimmins is very passionate about 6 pack, so loosing the little support it had left is genuinely upsetting to him. He is not making a huge fuss though, just a thread on a forum. As for Bolt, I do not follow you, that bot, along with Gust, has been confirmed multiple times to have been legalized for 6 pack. |

It wasn’t allowed when I was playing 6pack, that’s how long ago I stopped playing.
The point is, some newer bots and weapons are easier to get now, so for 6 pack to survive, it needs to follow the tide. The best idea about 6 pack is leveling up to level 6 maxed, not legacy equipment. I believe the reason why it was restricted to legacy equipment is because some of the rule makers were proficient at running them and don’t want to allow newer stuff. Fearing they will lose their “edge”, they capitalized on the community outrage for the release of the dash bots and ruled no component equipment allowed. At the time, the bolt was a component bot. For almost a year I plead and begged but no avail. So I sold my level 6 Zeus fury and walked away.

Do you know what hasn't? 6 Pack Plus. 6P+ has died in childbirth every single time people tried to get it off the ground. No one showed up to play. It has a discord still, a very dead one. I think I know why but whatever. But maybe it's time will come, someday. Ever since I discovered 6 Pack, I level capped myself at 6. Some of my stuff has drifted higher but the vast majority is 6. My Orochi, my Fafnir, my Shell, my Hawks, my Ao Jun, my Leeches, my Ravana, all the way back to my dash bots. All 6. I am so ready for 6P+. It's just that no one else is. Regardless, we'd love to have you back if the bug ever strikes you again. Every Wed and Sat at 9pm eastern. |

Thank you for the invite Cdr Crimmins but that ship has sailed long ago, there’s too much bad blood between me and the other founders of iOS 6 pack. Frankly, I am surprised to hear that 6 pack still survived, because there’s an inherent flaw in this game mode. Ironically this flaw is very similar to the main flaw in the regular game, which 6 pack was designed to circumvent.
If you’re curious I can discuss off line or on discord. I’m not here to bash 6 pack.
As for 6P+ I think the reason it never took off is because of hangar X.

Yeah I really wanted the 5%paint for my falcon. That's a bummer man. You would think the gold costs for weps and such would be lowered cuz 2500gold for a storm isn't worth it. Pix gonna Pix..

None of that's 6Pack legal but I hear you, buddy. 4000Au for a Carnage? They crazy. (I say this but I’m close to finishing my 5 Of Each Project. I recently bought 3 Butches, 2 Raijin’s, 3 Carnages, 2 Galahad’s and a Bolt. Took me down to 18k Au. I'm halfway through building my 4th Fury and then, after I build my 5th, I will have complete 6 Pack sets of every bot except Shutze, where I only have 1 at L6). |

I like the idea of 8 pack. To me, get classic bots that cannot compete in meta today. But I miss because classic bots were impossible to get for 100 free and being obsoleted soon. Dash bots up to AQ. Viking and later is iffy maybe no because Fenrir is good meta today.
Rayker Mercury AQ never had a chance to play sooo many bots. Raven you name it.
