I haven't exactly confirmed this, but if I'm not mistaken, you can't shoot an enemy by firing through a teammate. True or false?

In fact one of the biggest aggravations in the game is idiot AI teammates cluttering up firing lanes doing nothing but blocking your shots and getting themselves killed.

I got stuck behind AI bots at the beginning of a tournament match. Everyone spawned under cover with one way out. I'm assuming the AI's got jammed up against each other and couldn't move. The reds rolled up in mass and shot fish in a barrel.

The upside of these small maps is it it seems like they can make new maps a lot faster. Downsides are all the bottlenecks with teammates getting in your way and that it's a lot harder to retreat and hide when an attack goes wrong. I miss that aspect from War Robots. You could get in close, brawl and get out more often than with MA. Also miss the part where you could hang off ledges by your weapons, get into weird positions, find neat little crevices to hide in, etc. Overall the bots and physics in MA just feel bigger and chunkier and more simplistic that way.

Just getting into this game, and yeah, a few of those maps are nothing but bottlenecks. More than once i just decided to go around because a blue AI wouldn't advance or retreat

To add, because of some of the bottlenecks, you can attempt a retreat, while a blue ai is shoving you into the line of fire... Had that happen this morning once in tourney. And the blue ai is relentless.

And the blue ai is relentless. You’ll find that blue AI’s will decide to conspire against you with their red brethren when they decide you’re not going to win. They’ll shoot at nothing at all, rush headlong like so many kamikaze lemmings into enemy fire and certain death, and push you along right in front of them when they’re not content to just block your line of fire and only lane of retreat. And I swear I’ve had the same blue ‘teammate’ do all of these things to me multiple times in the same game. Somewhere there’s an evil-minded dev laughing his backside off at this little quirk they’ve coded into the Collective.
