I hit Div 2 for the first time tonight, and the MM decided to 「fluffernutter」 me over.
Out of my first 9 matches, I lost 6 of them.
I hope it gets better....

Start screencapping the start of match hangar scores. When you see things that are stupid, post them in the bug reports section of the discord. Don't engage much with the crowd there otherwise.

It'll pass, keep grinding for tokens and daily tasks. If you can take your beating in cpc, may let up during tourney

It’s not because of divv2 specifically, it’s because you won too much in getting there. MM is just stiffening up your competition. Once you pile up a bunch of losses, it should even things out. Unfortunately the beatdowns seem to come when you least need them.

It does get better. I find that I usually die in CPC games when I'm being aggressive with capping beacons. Old War Robots habits die hard I guess. So, unless you have a control point task, try to play either support for assaults or attack/ambush, depending on which mech you're piloting at the moment. You still may lose the game but at least you'll have fun and probably get a MVP award for it.

You still may lose the game but at least you'll have fun and probably get a MVP award for it. I’ve found it doesn’t seem to matter whether I play aggressively or defensively. I can play aggressive and take out a bunch of reds, or I can play defensively and get swarmed by aggressive and well-coordinated reds. It always seems to come down to how badly red AI wants you to lose or is willing to let you compete, and how 「slow」 your AI teammates are. I can usually (but not always) tell how the game will go by the hangar strengths of both teams, so I can prepare myself for the likely outcome. Sometimes a strong looking red team will play like idiots and get rolled over, sometimes a weaker looking red team will roll over me ... but usually the stronger looking team wins. Edit: Like today. AI has collectively decided that I’m not going to win any games ... so I’m not winning ANY games. It doesn’t matter how strong or weak the red team looks in paper. And it doesn’t matter if I hang back or go balls to the wall, the Higher Power has decided that I won too many yesterday. Every game starts off down 4 CP’s to 1. Every. Game. Then whatever red CP I go after, two red mechs magically spawn just as I’m getting there. It’s like clockwork. Two reds where I’m at, yet no other blues can grab a CP anywhere else. Most of these games we go down 5-0 at some point, but never get more than 2 CP’s. You have to see it to believe it. So I’m dropping like a rock today. If this keeps up, who knows, I might find myself back in div 2 before it’s over.

ya you know you're in for it when you have 3 to 4 reds enclosing on just you with insta-kill opness, and you have 3 or 4 blues doing anything but getting beacons
