out of all mech games besides War robots, i liked Battle of Titans the most. But that game could be so much more, last time i played it, some 6 months ago, it wasn't in a very good condition regarding player base or game controls... BoT also needs way more mechs and weapons. But the overall feeling you get when piloting their mechs is pretty much like a simulator, IMo if real mech battles really existed, i'm pretty sure they would look like those from BoT.
One other currently popular option is Mech Arena, a complete opposite from BoT, MA is totally arcade like game.

Ok I'm going to throw it out there... I'm done...is there any other similar games out there that are better then War Robots? Call of Duty Mobile is pretty damn good. Here's the short version. First of all, it's free. Yes free 100%. There is a battle pass every season for roughly $6 that gets you cooler 'looking' equipment but it doesn't give you higher damage or more kills. It's all based on aesthetics, looking good. You can beat top players without spending a dime if you're skilled. You'll start off killing everybody and doing well and then the difficulty curve gets steep after you hit higher levels. As with war robots, watch videos and practice and it'll payoff. And the better you get, the more fun you'll have as with most things. It's very different from War Robots as you have a lot of controls, A LOT. I play with 3 sometimes 4 fingers on the screen because you have to run, slide, fire, jump, aim, fire, run, active a drone, aim, fire, crouch, reload, run, slide, etc etc. It's very fast paced. There's 2 main modes, multi-player and battle Royale. I play both and love them equally, although I will say BR gets pretty challenging once you get up to Pro and beyond. There's tons of challenges to complete in both modes and I enjoy the hell out of them. I played for a couple months, 2 to 3 times a week for 30 min a pop and thought it was just OK. Now that I've gotten better and learned more, it's got me hooked. Last weekend I sat down on Saturday and played for 4 hours and enjoyed every minute! I suggest watching some youtube videos to see if it interests you.

I'm currently looking for a new game. Maybe a shooter?
When I'm in the mood for giant robots I play Battle of Titans now.
I wonder if Battle of Titans is seeing a surge of new and returning players lately?

Me and Deadeye and a handful of other folks here are really enjoying Mech Arena, A LOT I would play this mode if it was not comic graphics There's something to be said about the cartoon graphics. TBH, it turned me off at first too cause in the back of my mind, I was thinking it was just a silly game, but after a while, it grows on you. For one, it takes less resources to play, so there's less lag and less battery drain and my phone doesn't get as hot. The action is fast and smooth and even the slowest mech will make the fastest War Robots bot feel slow. Sometimes the action feels like a FPS cause you can kill or get killed so fast, and other times, it feels like a true blue mech game cause you're slugging it out with other similar mechs.

I'll second Joopiter's statement, Come try out Cod Mobile! No pay to win, crazy customization, and great new content every month.

Me and Deadeye and a handful of other folks here are really enjoying Mech Arena, A LOT I would play this mode if it was not comic graphics A legit critique. I think the simplicity of JUST FIGHT is what kept my attention. There is complexity as it goes... and there are major decisions as far as late/end game progression... but overall it's been a blast for me. It's def not perfect, but better, by far, than War Robots in it's post 6.0 state.
Also, try setting the graphix and FPS to highest settings if you haven't... pretty cool to get 60 FPS with ZERO performance issues.
All that and more got me past the aesthetic style.

i enjoy making decisions on which weapons and bots to obtain and upgrade. Every game has that, that's kinda the point of playing a game. What I do mind is wondering if I'm gonna get simultanteously locked suppressed and frozen in under a second, or having one of my bot's abilities completely neutralized by the latest 「dookie」 that greedy pixo has foisted upon me.

I think the "oooh haha" is when you SSK someone or kill someone with little to no damage taken in return. But, yah, I love the congratulatory phrases like "Humiliation, Smackdown, Killing Spree, etc". The one I can't understand is "Mech identified..." or something like that. Makes no sense.

It's actually a little lame... " noob identified" I wish I could turn the voices off, personally.
