Since the last update, I've had several attempts to start a game fail since the client now allows the clock to go past the maximum allotted time. If it ever passes that threshold, it never joins a game and I have to quit the application and start up Mech Arena again. It even happened when I was a part of a squad. I assume this is a bug. Very annoying and I worry it will happen with Tournament matches where I lose a ticket. Anyone else experiencing this?

Played a bunch this morning no issues. Had that happen during sever maintenance, they restore your tourney ticket

I've barely played in the last few days since the update due to RL... but the games I have played have not had that problem... Def report it and let them know how many times that it happened on a Tourney match. Like mechtout said, they should replenish your spent tickets.

More of a worry that it would happen on Tournament entries. Hadn't happened that way, just the normal beacon type matches. I'll look out to see how often it happens in the future.

I had some exchange with the devs about this and asked them to create a cancel button for this very reason, since the only solution at present was to restart my device. They said it makes sense and would work on something.
Just fyi, if you make suggestions to the devs via in game help or their facebook page, they are actually quite nice and respond to you within a day usually.

No, I still play War Robots some. There is a discord, however both Redfiend and myself have left it because the moderators there are quite rude, and this section of our forum is much more informative and productive anyways with friends we already know. I have commented in posts put up on the Mech Arena facebook page, as well as written to the devs in the game help section, and they are very responsive to the community.

I personally haven't had this happen at all in a Tourney game, but also, I've closed the app prior to starting a tourney match while in the waiting screen and haven't lost a ticket. I think this is the poor man's cancel button. Try it if you need to and check your ticket count, but I think you're safe. Agree with ѻﻭɼﻉ though, they need a cancel button.

I've reported this issue along with another where a bot falls through the ground into the ether. Both garnered a response stating they are aware of the issue. Kind of a standard form response but that's fine. View from below...

My kid is really enjoying ma, says it’s way better than War Robots lol, but i think that’s cuz it’s easier to play, however, the big frustration right now for us both is we frequently have to restart our ipad or turn off the ipad for a few minutes in order to get back to hangar after being stuck indefinitely in the quick match player search screen. Sucks.
I dont find this happening with tourney though.

I don’t have to turn my iPad off when this happens (which has been a LOT), just close the app (2 taps on the home button then swipe up) and reopen it. It’s still a pain, but not as bad as restarting the device every time.

That’s how I close everything, especially when I’m playing a game, unless I need to keep more than one app ‘open’ in the background.
