Pretty much hating ALL games at the moment...they all seem to want to outdo each other in suckage...so they can all DIE..and GOOD RIDDANCE

In B4 this gets moved.
I used to play just to get the odd game where MM was balanced....
Now I play for the odd game where there is MM balance, where there are no maxed out plasma Mings on long range maps, no teleporting stealthed out Scorpions, no flying chickens that take out a full Titan in one sortie, no added sidekicks that give your bot all the bells and whistles like lockdown/supression/freezing........
Yep, now games are very odd and getting harder and harder to find "fun".

 Unfortunately there is no good gif of Marvin reading God's Final Message To His Creation as written in fire in letters thirty feet high on the far side of the Quentulus Quazgar Mountains in the land of Sevorbeupstry on the planet of Preliumtarn, which orbits the star Zarss, which is located in the Grey Binding Fiefdoms of Saxaquine. It seems like it would be quite an appropriate goodbye to someone who has suffered through War Robots...  |

It's from the 2005 movie version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (which starts with dolphins singing "so long and thanks for the all the fish.") It's pretty good although it contains a bunch of new stuff that that Adams wrote into the screenplay and which isn't in the original books. |

Just a day where I was hating everything, War Robots made it worse...so did BoT...went looking at MA & just .... I dunno. Feels like I’m in the middle of a panic attack all the time these days (~125bpm heart rate, blood pounding in my ears, inability to relax).
So, yeah, not taking anything back, still struggling to get some jollies from the games, today is better (game-wise).... not really a rant, then, I guess. More stir-crazy than anything. Call it a token of my extreme....

Call it a token of my extreme.... I was in that same place when I first looked at MA (including the stir-crazy part). I went as far as to say I didn’t think it was for me. Then I kept up with some of the great info that’s been posted here and gave it another try with a little more knowledge and an open mind, and I’ve stuck with it for over a month now. Or maybe you just need a good romp with one or two very uninhibited women. |
