MA - Shotgun Shadow?

Tl:dr: Plasma Cannons instead. Better range/reload and has a 6 en variant.

Scape's bot tutorials were in alpha, before weapons had assigned energy costs, and before all items had Ranks/Levels.
Those vids don't apply to the game in it's current form in any way outside of mechanics.
With the rename/upgrade system implementation, most items were nerfed across the board.
For example: Lancer in alpha had 145,000 HP, whereas a maxed out lancer now probably ballparks 55-60k HP

In the game's current state, none of the items that cost 4 should get upgraded higher than rank 4. I say this because every bot can hold at least 2 6 cost weapons come rank 5.
The only items that anyone should spend the time and resources to max out are 6 cost and above.

ѻﻭɼﻉ , I’ve read nothing but bad reviews about shotguns. My understanding is, back around the time of that video, people were abusing the crap out of the Shadow+shotgun combination, and both of them got whacked with the nerf hammer - shotguns particularly hard. They really should have more punch considering their infinitesimal range. I’ve gotten chewed up by Shadows now with just about every other weapon set. Pulse cannons can be pretty nasty if you’re good at doing that stealthy strafe dance.
