Decided to pick up a pair of PC8s to go with it The PC8s work well on the Guardian for same-leveled mechs, but they don't have enough punch to finish a bot while they're incapacitated. I have my PC8s on my Panther right now because it gives it more time to fire the magazine and get back to cover. Let me know what you think of them though! Interested to hear your thoughts after you use them. |

When I ran them on the Guardian, I did a LOT of corner shooting... drawing them close while only using the one weapon, then when they finally decided to get close, I would trigger the ability and come out with both weapons blazing. Splash weapons are definitely something to be aware of, as well as all the things that not paying attention to the battle will allow to happen, but it was the best tactic I could get consistent results from, at the time.
Charging in behind a couple of Juggs, saving your ability for the clutch moment can be fruitful, especially if they get bum-rushed by a KS or something, but it was less reliable.
I like them best on the Ares, personally... but I bet that Panther kicks some 「bum-bum」, too.

I'm currently running the SB12/TL4 on my Ares with the plan of working towards the TL6 when the mech is taken to R5. The PC8s should be really good on the Ares though too. Anything that needs sustained fire. |
