Ivan that it’s j9b is to slow down attackers and deliver long range damage, I am thinking Ares, Jugs...possibly Guardian (awfully slow).
Ideas? Hints? Suggestions?

I don't have one... but... the times I have seen it work well was when it was paired with a high powered weapon... like a Longarm 10 or Railgun... even a Carbine. Slow it down, then shoot it from as far away as you can get if using Longarm since it has that mechanic that increases damage the farther away from the target you are.
It's a debuff as well as constant damage weapon... prolly a lot of ways to use it and get good results.
As far as bots... whichever has the energy available to run Stasis and a powerful weapon at the same time.

It's a continuous fire weapon. You want it on bots that can soak up or deny damage being dealt to them.

ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48Stasis beams inflict damage over time, and take a few seconds to actually apply the status effect. Come the time where you'll actually be using them every advantage counts, like Optimal Range. Optimal range doubles the average damage tic, and has weapon do their listed base damage about as often as they crit for triple damage. Use Pulse cannons and watch the numbers above 60m, and under 60M . Pulse cannon and Thermal lance have an optimal range of 60, Stasis has an optimal range of 90. Mediums(Tanks) can't use anything more than 6 cost weapons with a stasis beam at max energy. The thermal combo puts whatever you're targeting into full Debuff. It's not a weapon you want to get up-close and personal with unless you're in a tank. When it comes to tanks though, burst damage isn't so burst-y at the levels you're going to be using Stasis Beam. Missile rack would barely break a tank's shield. Shieldbreaker on a Panther is full Area denial. Carbines outperform Pulse cannons under 30M. From the 30-60 mark, Pulse cannon 8 outperforms Carbine 8. Thermal lance+ Longarm works because it boots the Long Arm' damage by 50%. Stasis and Long Arm/Missile Rack will just have one of your weapons sitting on empty while relying on Stasis' medium damage to seal the deal. Full debuff to mark for death, ordouble stasis 12/Stasis 16+Pulse cannon 8 because it would be a waste of a Carbine for the engagement distances you want to keep.

Panther, Ares, or Juggs.
I’m currently running SB12 with TL4 on Ares and love this set up, but my objective is to get the Ares to R5 so I can equip my TL6.
The combo of slowing down targets and making them more vulnerable to all incoming fire is excellent!
I prefer the Longarms on Panther. There’s something about the way Ares handles that pairs really well with this SB12/TL load out. I love it
