I see a few of them. Annoying as a almost two year old niece when I won’t let her play with my Force FX lightsaber (don’t judge).
Any good? Not that hard to kill, from what I’ve seen. Granted, I’m usually in my Guardian, which makes it easier...

Heyday Stalker, not Pursuer. It's made of glass, head on confrontations aren't advised. Shadow pilots want to be where the people aren't whenever possible, stealing beacons. Otherwise they're running away, making their enemy chase them into death traps, or shooting something in the arse to either kill them or make them turn around and die trying to kill you.

Since you can adjust your aim in the Z (vertical) axis, Shadows are pretty easy to hit in stealth. I'm new to the game, but they don't seem very viable to me.

I have lots of problems with AI hitting me with Longarms even when I zig zag but haven't had a problem with Shadows. Is there a break point going into division 1? I'll probably be there within a week so I'm curious what awaits.

Unfortunately aim assist places the free aim crosshairs right on the shadow even when in stealth, so its easy to hit it with longarms. It doesnt requre the shooter to be at the same los in order to hit it.

They get to the point where they stop outclassing you with pure hangar strength and start fighting like coordinated squads consistently. They'll use 4 mech rank 4 hangars to stay around the 15-1700 mark, so their individual bots might remain stronger than any one of yours. Shadows further down the line tend to travel in pairs, or only leave themselves open if: A- The bot served it's purpose and the AI is ready to drop a tank/attacker B- There's something worse on the enemy team covering the Shadow, so whether you kill it or not, it's a bad trade.
