Hi all. Is there an upper limit on the free tokens? I have 14 at the moment, and no real desire to use them as I am rank 1 on my card for the day and only looking for promotion. Would rather save for the big days in Expert.
I also have a gold crate waiting to be opened, from winning bouts. Do these stack if unopened, i.e. if I leave it and continue to win battles, will it show 2 waiting to be opened, then 3, etc.?
I don't want to waste resources, either hitting a ceiling for free tokens by opening the gold crate, or by losing the entire crate if they don't stack.

There is a maximum number of tickets earned, and a max number of tickets saved. the crates stack, but the max number of tickets you can earn each heat is 12. so you won't earn more than 12 tickets in the next heat, but you can save the ones you have from the previous heat.
i would keep playing until you reach the max tickets earned for the day and the white crate no longer shows a ticket is available. then take the max tickets saved to the next heat.

Read the tournament guide.
You can only earn 12 free(red) tickets per day. If you're maxed out on tickets for the day, don't open crates until you spend them.

I'd like to add another dumb question. If my white crate doesn't have a ticket, and I earn enough battle tokens for a crate, and I don't open the crate, will the ticket become available once the current heat ends?

After your daily tickets are gone, you can stockpile crates to pop them for tickets as soon as you're ready to play the next day. |

I'll add one more note since I've been trying to figure out the specifics of the ticket and how to get them. So far, I've determined that each day, only 3 silver crates award tickets and usually at a rate of +1 per crate. Can't remember if I've seen +2 or not, but I assume these are good for 3 of my daily 12 tickets. 2nd source is the 3 free daily steel crates that come in your offers section. These are usually good for +2 each crate, totaling +6 tickets and +9 overall including the silver crate tickets. The last option for free tickets is the gold chest you get when you complete at least 5 of your tasks for the day. This is usually +3 tickets and rounds out the maximum of 12 total tickets you can win in a day. I haven't tracked the numbers I get from each of these crates extensively, so I can't be sure if you always get 12 a day or if that is just if you're lucky, but those are the ONLY crates I've received tickets from. That means you don't need to store the gold crates you earn each day until the next day. Just 3 silver crates.

The silver crates are colored white in-game
The gold crates are colored orange in-game and there are gold crates you earn from just playing in the tournament and quick-match games and the 1 gold crate you get for tasks each day. The latter has the +3 tickets.
