So, after playing for 2 weeks, I think I'm done with MA. For the following reasons:
- Strategy/Battle experience.
The battles are less strategic than in War Robots. The reason why I always played beacon modes and not TDM (or that abomination called King of the hill, that is forgotten by all now, thankfully) was that love strategic element of area control and beacon control. MA feels like TDM even if it isn't, it's all about killing enough reds. It's completely random whether my teammates will try to get a beacon, and they don't give a ?dookie? about area control, ignoring a red beacon in blue territory where reds spawn happily.
- Lack of human players.
Even though the AIs play decently, they are limited. Matchmaking overcompensates these limits by pitting me against superstrong AIs, with bots 2 levels higher (like 4* Jugs vs. my 2* bots). As a result, I often get 1-shot while I have to hit 3 or 4 rounds to kill one of these ?fluffernutter?ers. Mortars are a problem (discussed in another thread), but I also resent getting 1-shot by Longarms from 150m away - they are very hard to control and I'm moving unpredictably all the time, I know how hard to hit it is this way. And still this gives me no protection. I assume my opponents are AIs with perfect targeting, but I don't care, I die anyway.
That's a serious problem with game mechanics. I will learn and mirror enemy tactics if an enemy is successful against me. Here I can't learn and mirror anything, because all I can learn is "stronger bots are ?female dog?es".
Combine this with the fact that I'm still the best player on my (losing) team. It often feels like I'm fighting 5 AIs alone. I have no problem fighting against humans with stronger equipment, I've done this in War Robots for 3+ years. But getting served a bunch of AIs, where every single one is ridiculously stronger than I am, that's not my cup of tea.
- Tournaments.
While the games in tournament are fine, I simply can't earn reasonable resources with that mode. I live in a timezone where the last 9 hours of the tournament is the time where I sleep, get up and have my first coffee. I can place 3rd in the early rounds where no one cares because the rewards stink, but as soon as I get to the later rounds: If I spend the usual breakfast time in front of my computer (which I can't do often, because, for example, I have to send a kid off to school), I will inevitably find that someone has overtaken me by 1500 points in the night for the 3rd spot or even for the 6th spot. If I try get up early and try to fight my way to the top (which I have done once, exactly), I find that my opponents get so strong that I can barely scrape 100 points per game. And these are human opponents for a change.
I have very limited patience for games that expect me to "grind through" like a hamster on speed. I can and will play games for several hours a day, but only if I have fun and get something out of it. Tournament stops being fun at some point because the games get too hard, and for the last couple of days, I've been playing 2 hours a day in tournament and I came up empty. This a "no" on both counts, this is bad game design. ?fluffernutter? yourselves, game devs.
- Frustration from lack of progression.
Most of my frustration comes from the previous 2 points. But there is more: I can't progress. I can't work on improving a bot that I like, I have to hope that I win blueprints. I was hoping to take my Jug to 3*, but I haven't won a single blueprint in 3 days. (I need 30 or so.) But there's more: I can't buy anything (game is not released in my country), I can't get reasonable resources from tournament (see above), I'm making no progress. Assuming I can make 30k credits and maybe 50 a-coins on average per day (including tournament), I can stop all upgrades and wait for 10 days to unlock one weapon (Missile Rack). Yeah, right.
Bottom line: I'm out. Without a decent path to get the resources to upgrade my bots, why bother? It's possible that some of the above problems go away if I get stronger bots, but I will never get those. The whole upgrade-driven system fails when there are not enough players. You can't reasonably mix players with 4* bots and 2* or even 1* bots and expect the 2* players to have a good game experience. But a game like this needs the conflict of human players.
Edit (September 1st): There is another big isssue that I didn't want to get into, but it seems to be part of this. And that's matchmaking. I've always been a proponent of hangar based matchmaking. No other factors. For 3 simple reasons: - Any system that takes league, win percentage or other factors into account can be "gamed". Players WILL tank down to get easier matches, or in many cases they will tank to get fair matches, actually. So this can be exploited, regardless of how exactly the system works. Only a strictly hangar-based matchmaking can avoid this.
- Satisfaction. If matchmaking drives me up or down until I have a 50% win rate, why even try hard? What's the point in playing well, if all I'll ever get is 50% wins?
- Playing hard. If I see that I'm in a losing match, I'll just quit. I will end up losing half of my games already, might as well get another loss out of my way. If I play hard, then I'll just get harder opponents in the next game. No point in playing hard.
A league system may work to some degree if payouts are much better in higher leagues. But this eliminates only point #1, the other two will still be out there. All games that do not use hangar based matchmaking willl suffer, their gameplay will be worse than possible. Not sure if it could work if the matchmaking is mostly hangar based, but in MA the matchmaking seems to depend mostly on the winning percentage of the last few games, and tournament rating. Ridiculous.

Thanks for the write-up. Just a couple of things you may wish to try before giving up...
a) I believe you can enter a tournament round up until an hour before the end of that round. You will be placed with 20 people that joined about the same time as you and you will compete against those people. Maybe get up a couple of hours before the tournament ends and see how that does. b) I think the intelligence/strength of the AI you face is based upon how much you play each day; the more you play the worse it gets. You may be able to use that to your advantage.
I agree AI can become a real problem. I've been one-two shotted and had to look at the description to see what killed me. Also agree people don't know (yet) what beacon rush is about.
Overall, I am actually enjoying MA much more than War Robots these days. MA has a cartoonish look and can be a bit jumpy, but it seems to go back to what this stuff is about... just plain shooting bots and not worrying about 50 million special tricks the newest War Robots bots have (ex., Hawk with channeling weapons, bypassing DR, reflecting damage taken back to sender). Maybe you could take a break from MA and come back at a later time. I think it has potential.

I do find the AI to be overpowered from time to time. Usually, when I get the ones that one shot you, I take a break for a few minutes. Then the AI seem to chill out a bit more.

frunobulax, I get all your issues, and I'd be lying if I said most of them didn't bug me, too ... they just don't bug me enough to hang it up. There's still a lot more that I like about the game than I dislike, but there are times when it gets a little much and I have to put the tablet down for awhile. All I'd like to add is that, from everything I'm seeing on FB, the game is still technically in Beta. I don't know if that's 100% true, and if it is, what will change when it goes live. But it's something to consider when evaluating its faults, particularly your inability to advance for now. If you do drop it, make sure to pop in here from time to time to see how things are progressing, if any favorable changes are being made, or just to stay in touch. Nothing says you can't load it up again sometime down the road to give it another shot.

-Strategic play: It's actually more important than anything. The only time anyone actually faces death squad AI at an unreasonable level advantage is by constantly improving strategic play. The AI I face are usually 5-7 levels above me(which includes a rank up) and I'll only see ridiculously leveled bots if I've won 9/10 matches for more than a day. Part of strategy is counterplay and knowing what is likely to happen at any given moment on any given map. If you refuse to adjust to actually counterplay what's happening, it's only going to lead to bad times, AI or not. No strategy ever works 100% of the time, knowing how the execution of a strategy flows into a change of plans is the key to actually keeping advantage on the battlefield. -AI: Yes, they can be a problem, but only because they actually play smart. The AI with a squad of death bots made specifically to kill human players is the exception, not the rule. Even squadding with forumites well below the enemy AI team, we've done well. Hell Deadeye topped two MVP slots in our last battle together, and ALL of the enemy AI had 1000 power on him, and were playing for keeps(as I saw through fighting 1v2 trying to re-take a home beacon) -Tournament: I made a farming guide man. My 500 power alt account has gotten 700 premium currency this week, and my main(rank 3) account has gotten the same using that guide. If you're breaking your balls grinding, you're pushing too hard in the wrong places. The path I laid out for rank 1-2 hangars has seen ~both~ of my accounts top every bracket I actually played in this week, without even using all of my free tickets. I spelled out every possible way I could to avoid hitting the walls I faced and had to adapt to when I came into this game blind. Is building blueprints really any worse than having to wait 2 days for a single weapon, on a bot carrying 4 weapons, to finish upgrading? I literally made a F2P account after posting all of the guides I had in mind to verify that they work. After 4 days it's: Killshot(Rank 2): 2x RPG4(Rank 2) Panther(Rank 2): 2x Plasma Cannon 6(rank 2) Juggernaut(Rank 2): 2x Plasma Cannon 4(rank 2) With about 700 premium currency remaining in the bank(though I'll probably rank up Lancer tomorrow for giggles), and no Blueprints to spare. It's a free to play game. The only way to skip to the end is to dole out dough. To get to the end without said money means putting in the grind to get good, and the time to get there. Like veteran players say about Warframe, which is the best F2P PC MMO I've come across by a longshot, if the grind of the game isn't fun, then the game simply isn't for you. The gameplay that leads to the endgame is where fun is to be found. The experience of the game is where the fun is to be found. If you're not cool with that, then it's just not a game for you, no harm, no foul ??

frunobulax , I get all your issues, and I'd be lying if I said most of them didn't bug me, too ... they just don't bug me enough to hang it up. Well, I'm not saying that I will quit forever. The game has potential, clearly. But I did find that during the last 2-3 days playing wasn't enjoyable. It felt like a chore, with bitter disappointment about the results. If a game isn't fun anymore, it's time to quit.

Is building blueprints really any worse than having to wait 2 days for a single weapon, on a bot carrying 4 weapons, to finish upgrading? Are you a Plarion representative? Just wondering. Whenever somebody says he doesn't like something, you jump in and praise the game as if it was the second coming. Your input is certainly valuable, but you also might as well accept that someone has issues with the game. I think I wrote in very much detail what I dislike about the game. Posted in the official discord, too. The devs can take it or leave it. But don't tell me what I have to like or dislike. I'll determine this for myself, thank you very much. It's a free to play game. The only way to skip to the end is to dole out dough. To get to the end without said money means putting in the grind to get good, and the time to get there.
Completely, utterly wrong. BTW, if you had read my post, you would know that I simply don't have the option to buy something as the game is not released in my playstore yet. What you're parroting is the arguments of the game developers, squeezing out ludicrous amounts of money out of players that typically can't afford it. I can play games like Auto Chess without grinding, where purchases are purely cosmetic and won't affect playing strength. See, the original War Robots was almost perfect: With hangar based matchmaking, players could stay with a hangar forever if they wanted, and play balanced games. Players still spent money and made the game profitable, simply because they liked it. Those "f2p" games you mention make the games worse than they could be, always putting in arbitrary barriers where players have to grind for an eternity, with the nudge that players can shell out money to make up for the difference. Sure, it's a business model, it appears to be profitable, but unless you're a whale you'll never have the best experience. And I will choose to stay away from these games. There is a fine line between progressing in a game and having to put in an unreasonable amount of grinding. Good games see a player progress as he plays. You can play, and you'll progress organically. With that, the difficulty will grow while you have access to a wider range of stuff. Bad games ask players to play 800 games to acquire the resources to max out a single robot or weapon, or in case of Star Wars Battlefront, 40 hours gameplay to unlock single hero that would be expected to be included in the game bought. Mech Arena is not a good game by these standards. Playing for months to unlock a single weapon or mech isn't growing organically. Perhaps it's not as greedy as other games, granted. But don't tell anyone there has to be grinding.

I basically quit War Robots too, for reasons I outlined in detail in other threads, and I did expect Mech Arena to be my replacement. But somehow, the fun didn't last with that one.

frunobulaxNope, not a representative of anything but myself. I'm getting a lot of fun out of the game, and others here have seen the watered down versions of what I'm actually playing against on the regular, so I'm sure anyone that's squadded with me, or against me, would be able to have a word or two about that. I made a bunch of mistakes when I first started, and went for everything as fast as possible. Started a brand new account in this past week and got to where I spent my first three weeks playing the game in four days. Just four days. That's why I took the time to actually write all of this stuff out for everyone else. You may not know or remember me, but I was once this passionate and vehement about War Robots, and made quite the few guides and breakdowns HERE Pre-Dash bot era. It's not as bad as you're making it out to be, and I've put a lot of effort into spelling out how to make it easier for everyone here, when I could have just laughed off my good memories of the Walking War Robots WIKI clan and kept on keeping on with my life. It's not straightforward, no, nothing is. That was the whole point of me coming here and writing all of what I did. There's only 12 bots in the game, and a handful of weapons that are each highly specialized and balanced against each other. Is it perfect? No, nothing ever is, nor will it ever be. That's just life. If you want a game that's a-la-carte, never changes, and every item is easily obtainable after a week or so, Dark Souls 3 is still populated on PC, Counterstrike is still live, Team fortress 2 is still live, Unreal Tournament and Quake have communities to compete in, and there's always the repetitive yearly COD to jump into. The grinding in MA isn't unreasonable if you do it right. Hell, it's not too far from Y1 Walking War Robots except instead of grinding for days to wait for days, or just using the same 2 year old meta to beat up on newbies, you actually earn your upgrades to get them right away. The only reason Y1-2 War Robots was glorious was because Gepards and Rogs could be used to steamroll everyone and everything until the resources were built up to get to max, or near max, and then continue to steamroll weaker players. I don't play games like this to shoot fish in a barrel. If I wanted that I'd go back to playing Destiny 2, with it's melon head hitboxes and a meta so stale, that the devs have to neuter the old items with a power delta, just to sell them back with a higher power delta, just to keep the game "changing". To each their own man.

Squading on the Control Point (BR) mode has produced many down to the wire games that gave me a rush on War Robots, so much so that ive added just about anyone to grow my friends list. TDM is okay and done for resources, but i realize i should follow Red's strategy to max rewards and minimize grinding. If the tournament has a Amateur or Prodigy chest, your not gonna win it with Rank 3 gear.

I rarely can find anybody to squad with, and if I do, they’re usually advanced pretty far above me. I’ll tell ya, after the crappy string of games I’ve had today, I’m about ready to join @ frunobulax. Besides losing almost every game, I have 4 challenges left that I haven’t been able to come close to completing. Why? Because AI in this game absolutely SUCKS.

frunobulaxNope, not a representative of anything but myself. Redfiend I have to say your guides have been invaluable in helping me navigate the economy and upgrades for this game. I think you're saving a lot of people a lot of money and really helping out f2p folks as well. Been playing for less than a week and am pretty happy with my current hangar and how it's set to evolve thanks to your guides. Also getting the hang of tournaments and finally got the top slot yesterday. I hadn't realized they keep offering free Steel Crates in the Store with 2 tickets each, without which it's pretty hard to snag the top rank (didn't actually notice that til after the heat ended, lol). I did the 100 A-Coins for 20 tickets deal to put myself over yesterday, but that's a very worthwhile trade since you net more A-Coins for first anyway (and I only used 3 of them so I have the rest now in reserve). Related to the tournament issues you're having frunobulax, I am actually wondering if it might be better to take a strong position out of the gate rather than wait til the end to try and one up your top competitor. Combine the free tickets hoarded over the 2 days of the demote/promote tournament strategy with some golden tickets, then really leap ahead of everyone with a few extra games and make them think "why bother?" and save their tickets for another heat. I too have noticed that the matches get harder as you get closer to the deadline, and playing earlier nets you more points per match. So even though you're deliberately playing some extra matches and burning some A-Coins it could be that this would end up being the most economically-efficient strategy overall. It's speculative though, I have only been playing a week so I still have to test this out. And it would take a lot of rounds to see how often competitors give up on the chase, but playing mornings might not be such a bad thing, idk...

Yea, free tickets come from the daily silver crates in the shop, the Gold crate from completing 5 daily quests, and a handful from the silver crates earned from activity tokens. I covered that in the basic setup guide when I went over currencies. The closer you play to the deadline, the faster the enemies tend to ramp up. Trying to stay neck in neck with the next person on your card is wasteful because, as I've said multiple times, playing ~more~ makes the game more punishing. It's why dropping back so you can play easier cards according to your hangar is the main suggestion. If you're at the midway point of a hangar milestone, the opponents will ramp up past you if they're starting at or above your hangar power when you just started the card. Expert tournament starts around 1400 hangar powers, and ramps up to the 17-1800s the more games are played in it. Meanwhile Professional level opponents top out around 13-1400 hangar power, with the occasional real player dropping in with similar hangar strengths to the top of what the AI reaches because they're farming, same as you.
The tournament bracket rotation for 1-2 star hangars is profitable the moment people get to the rank 2 hangar I recommended for beginners in the gear guide. It can be used all the way up until needing to gather the A-coins specifically to rank hangars from 3 to 4. That threshold is where hangar power/bot performance is more suited to do the next rotation that shoots for payouts from 2 Expert bracket days and a Master bracket instead of just the low-power brackets. With shooting for "professional" bracket rewards, the off days for demotion between them, and the AI you're farming, it's really easy to get the top spot with free tickets unless you're on an unlucky card, and gets easier every time you can give your hangar a bump from the rewards earned.

I missed the part about the shop earlier. Thought it was all RM offers and hadn't really looked through it in-game. What's "If you're at the midway point of a hangar milestone" mean exactly, in a quantified sense? Like your bots are L4, halfway between ranks or Also, unrelatedly, do keys carry over from one Loot Rush to the next. I saw you said there is a one week off period between rushes and it looks like I'll have some keys leftover from this one. Wondering what happens to them (and if it is ok to hoard even more for a future rush rather than spend them on this one).

S1E1 Basically, if the AI when you play your first game of tournament are ~starting~ above your current total hangar power, by the end of the tournament, they're going to have a significant power handicap over you, and players just make that harder because they're less predictable than the bots. So if all of your bots are Rank2 level 4-5 ish, and you only have your core 3 bots, you're going to be around 5-700 power. Since your damage is low, the AI ramps up slower, so you'll see AI on the enemy team with 7-900 power, maybe 1000 tops, BUT, you'll also have allies that have that many points on you to be meat-shields. Example: Today is the last day of tournament, I did the first rotation in the guide, so I'm playing in the "Professional" bracket. -My current 3 star hangar is just under 1400 power. -My first game, only the actual players in the room had more than 1000-ish hangar power, with the AI barely over the 1000 threshold mark. -5 matches in: The AI is now around my hangar strength, 1300 points on average. -By the time I finish my free tickets, one of two of the AI per match are going to be at 15-1700 hangar power, but that's as strong as they get for the professional bracket. -My weaker account is seeing numbers around half of that across all examples, because my hangar there is only around 600 power. Outside of running into the fellow farming player of course --- keys are part of "Vault Crates" not the "Loot Rush". The only thing that expires when the timer that is currently running ends, are the ~additional~ rewards in the progress bar at the top of the screen where you cash out keys for crates(12.5k cred, 250 coins, 3 skins) Your keys don't expire(They're a paid currency outside of actually earning them in tournament ) so you can save keys from the week that loot rush isn't active to get a head start on the following one, or you can cash them in for crates like normal, without the additional rewards bar at the top.

You have good points and I think the best points in your favor have to do with your location (unfortunately). The tournament is the primary way to acquire resources quickly and if you can't participate in the critical final hours, you're going to definately get pushed, unless like S1E1 said, you overload your tourney points early to discourage folks stealing from you late. I'm in the CST in the US and so the Tournament ends at almost 1 am locally. I'm just not staying up that late and I paid for it last night as 2 people dropped me a bracket while I was sleeping. However, last weekend for the tourney I was on the west coast 2 hours later and I could easily stay up to watch the end of the tourney. I think they might need to revisit how the tournaments are run because this isn't super fair for a global game. Still though, it's almost a game within a game and it feels like someone beat me because they cheated. Regardless, I'll know better next week. Also, your point is very well taken about not being able to make purchases locally because of the lack of release. That sounds like a double edged sword though. It sucks now, but it does mean that if you put the game down and pick it up fresh again when it becomes available, you can start over and miss making some of the starter mistakes and better know your path. Some of the best deals in the game are the starter cheapo deals you get towards the start. They lay a great groundwork for later as that money isn't wasted and those bots/weapons can be used all the way to the end. I have spent less than $50 and feel that's all I really need to spend and can grind the rest (with potential small exceptions as they come up). I think I might agree with you that taking a break for those 2 reasons alone is enough, sadly. If the company is run well, many of the points you've made will likely be addressed to one degree or another. If that happens, then you will have saved yourself frustration and can jump back in and reap the benefits of your initial time investment. I hope it plays out that way for you and all of us.

Deadeye I'm in the EST and rarely play tournament beyond mid day. I made the tourney guide specifically around being able to get the most out of being in a spot where just playing the free tickets available is enough to rank first. I've found the AI is extra janky if I try to play tournament close to daily deadline, because ~everyone~ is grinding at that time, trying to outpace everyone else in a short window with the deadline as leverage. I updated the tournament guide with screenshots of my last run of tournament with both my 500 power hangar and a 1400 power hangar, showing at least 5 free tickets remaining on both, with a comfortable lead on both cards. The only reason the screenshots were right before tournament ended, was because that was when I had the time to take and swap screenshots to desktop to put them up here. I hadn't played since early afternoon. Your ranking card is created ~when you play your first game~ so if you're starting tournament literally an hour before it closes, it's fighting ~only~ players that are trying to fix the card with the deadline, as I've said to frunobulax before. Just sticking to the proper tournament brackets makes topping the list, at your most convenient times, as easy as just playing your tickets. Can't win them all, but just playing your tickets instead of trying to game the timer will put you at a comfortable spot on your card with minimal effort.

I think I know where OP is at. This game is ZERO fun today. Matches aren’t anywhere close to fairly balanced. I’m getting 1-shot killed by EVERYTHING, and my weapons aren’t doing squat. This reeks of the worst of War Robots. The one game I won, I was at the bottom of the team. Not a soul around to squad with to at least try to even things out. I’ve got my 850-ish hangar, and everything else out there is 1200 or higher. Can’t win, canâ??t even get a friggin kill, and forget about finishing any if today’s stupid challenges. I’m getting nothing out of it, so what’s the ?fluffernutter?ing point of playing.

There was server maintenence earlier today, I'm going to see if anyone else has been running into anything outrageous. I ran into a Zephyr with Carbines earlier today, which, as you can imagine, is not the norm.

It’s ?fluffernutter?ing ridiculous today. I either get beat because my teammates totally ignore control points, or the reds kill everything on the field. They’re gonna lose me before this thing gets out of beta. The one game I got to squad with somebody today, I got spanked. I have won ONE game all day. Seriously I have a challenge to win 3 games, and I’ve only won 1, and I was at the bottom of even that one.

Maybe I miss these 'can't win' times since I don't get to play much during the day... evening (Central Standard) may have more players online? Or because I don't play too many games at once? IDK... I've definitely had a blowout or 5 where I was the bits on the bottom of a shoe... but I don't get that many. I also totally switch up my tactics when the folk are strong. Like, running a Cossie in War Robots META type of tactics. Hide, run, corner shoot... run some more... etc. I will say when I met that group that was running a squad with mechtout and friends the other day, they took over and just claimed that battle as their own... but mostly I can't say I have had experiences where changing up tactics didn't fix it. I hope I don't run into that problem. Danny Linguini ... are you on their Discord? I saw where Fruno left a link in there to this thread and either the Dev or whomever the orange person is there was pretty positive to taking the feedback... maybe join it and voice your issues... they seem to be receptive. Just a thought... since it's beta they should still be looking for input.

ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48 pretty sure they're just a community manager. Judging by how they talk in general it's probably their first time having that kind of role. It's why I got a chuckle when Fruno asked if I was a rep, I'd love to get paid for stuff like this, but I've already done marketing/merchandising and I utterly hate it as a job.

I’ll get one or two games which are nigh on unwinnable, but rarely three or more. Div 2 with, at best, low level rank 3 gear. It does make me curious as to why people seem to be having much different experiences.

It does make me curious as to why people seem to be having much different experiences. I dunno. I'm hovering at Division 1: 11000 points, so I fight nothing but rank 4 hangars (1800-2400 hangar power) while I'm still only at 1390 hangar power. The only time I feel like I get washed is when the AI gets a serious hate boner for me, and me specifically. Matches started going significantly better when I accepted that the AI aren't going to play by what I'm doing, and I started focusing on either filling the gaps in friendly formations or breaking the enemy formation with a flank or distraction. Can't be the MVP of every match. Got loads easier when I stopped trying to be.

Can't be the MVP of every match. Got loads easier when I stopped trying to be. What’s a ‘friendly formation’? Is that like when a couple of teammates actually play like a team? Because I don’?t see any of that stuff. No, my team scatters to the winds, while the reds swarm like the ?fluffernutter?ing Borg. You should see my battle log. In the last three games tonight, all extremely lopsided losses, whenever I’d go for a control point, all of a sudden there are 2 or 3 reds converging on it from who the hell knows where, that were nowhere in sight when I first moved on it. Happened more times than I could count. Meanwhile, as we’re going down 4-1 control points, I have a genius teammate running around in circles in the back away from everything and everybody lobbing those ?gosh darn ? turd rockets into the sides of hills, hitting nothing, contributing nothing. Every game tonight except one was a total whitewash, with reds quickly getting a 3-2 or 4-1 control advantage, and blues either having no clue how to get them back, or getting 1-shotted trying to flip them. At the same time, it takes me three javelin volleys and two melees, and the hope that there’s a teammate nearby drawing fire, to take down a red ... on the rare occasion I actually took one down. It has been a thoroughly frustrating day in this game. Funny thing is, this morning I got up and said I was gonna leave it alone for the day, not play any games and just put pop in for the free crates. I should have listened to myself.
