It's complicated and confusing.

Starlord IV Thanks for sharing. Not sure how I feel about having to learn about a whole set of ‘bots’ and features / functions.

My top concern is power cells. I think after a week or so of playing with them, we'll get the hang of it.
But I am struggling to not cash in gold regularly to keep me flush for competitive play.
Each ability (and there's several per drone) has a power cell cost. Even if it's 2 PC per ability and they don't give us another outlet for earning PC, i'm in big big big big big biiiiiig trouble!

Are we going to end up with a drone activation button? And if so, will it be in the most convenient spot for accidental activation?

Nice videos. I like how you try to explain drones.
There is one aspect which I think your viewers might also want to know—the fact that a drone's max battery capacity is variable.
For example, a Sidekick drone's max battery capacity is between 4 and 7. You won't know whether you high-rolled a 7 battery Sidekick or low-rolled a 4 battery sidekick until after you buy it. There also doesn't seem to be any way to upgrade a drone's battery capacity other than keep buying new ones until you high-roll.

Tell me what I can buy, and what it'll cost up front. *sigh*. Can you move chips from drone to drone?

But keep in mind that each drone slot is assigned a category, sort of like Titan modules.

The more it costs the better IMO. If only the largest whales can afford it than the distortion on the battle field will be minimised. However, if it cost so much that only the big spenders can affford it than it is a dead concept because they dont need the extra gimmick for them to top the table. Thats why it will be on the pricey side but not excessive IMO. That will encourage most to use it and the big spenders to abuse it.

Taking Sidekick drone as an example, I thought it would start with 4 and kind of gain 'experience' and move up to a max of 7. I didn't realise it's variable, that sucks

Looks like my left thumb will completely cover up the drone while playing on my phone.
