So I've become increasingly aware that my shots are delayed but something that has always bugged me is how I could lose a frontal confrontation with some "inferior" enemies.
In particular my Orkan Rhino should be able in close range nuke a Plasma Griffin (but often loses). It was only the other day in between a fire fight between a Leo and myself, that I unloaded on him and watched him run away around the corner, then die from the damage from me 4 SECONDS LATER.
So I've been counting my shots and watching the damage bar, on average it takes 2 to 4 seconds for my shots to register...
That means I could kill someone, have them fight back for four seconds before they actually die!

80% died due to shots not registered. I'm one of them.
Most importantly, why the seal again?

It depends which weapons you use. For me, Aphids and Plasma always registers the damage after it hits the target.
Tridents, Orkans, KWKs, Molots and Punishers always have a 1 - 1.5 damage delay.

My Zeus Carnage often takes around 3 or 4 seconds to register. I zap them, and they continue walking around, wait a few seconds, then die.

It takes for me 1 second or less to register my damage, for Plasma, sometimes the shots go through the target and take alot longer to register.

I notice this the most with my RDB Griffin.. Seems the Tums have a delay, I always assumed it was the splash damage doing the final lil bit that kills the target. Tridents can be this way too..

I never really had problems with Tarans and Magnums having delays.
Zeus, however, is a big culprit for having a long damage delay.

Not a delay, so much as damage fails to register with tarans and magnums occasionally. For me, at least. I don't know if it's connection related.

Its ping lads everyone has it but some are worse than others.it all depends on connection strength and distance from server.
I live in new Zealand which is super far away from any servers but my upload speed is 20mbps and my download is 100mbps so I'm kinda even
