Friday afternoon peak time.
I just played one game.
Vortex from Odin was on red team and I know that he plays on PC.
Our side was locking and lagging severly...
I use a tablet so I was wondering if PCs ever have the same problems: control lock and lag.
I hadn't thought about it before but maybe worth experimenting with the emulator.
Any input is useful and appreciated. thanks!

Mine works great 99% of the time. There are periods of lag, which means Pix is usually doing something. Like the other morning when they were doing some maintenance.

Lags alot if you dont have a intel processor on your PC since most emulator have better compatibility with them.

Thanks guys for all of the feedback! Definitely worth trying it out then. Lots of top players have already proven the advantage of using emulators.

It's totally worth it, especially if you're used to FPS on a PC. I'd recommend Memu, you can find lots of info here on the forums regarding setting that up and it's quirks

I play on memu, control locks often like shaolinrogue said, I have a AMD processor and sometimes the fps drops alot, but even with that its better than to play on a phone, its easier to control if you map correctly your keys.

I just got a logitech G300 mouse so it has 4 programmable buttons beyond the reg. left/right/scroll. It's working out great for single fire goodness! used to have them mapped to Q/E/X/C, now my A/S/W/D hand is free for fancier footwork You can also use gamepad with memu via a program like joy2key but I personally didn't like it.

My mouse has 2 side buttons but no programable software to change them. Do you know if there is any program to change the left buttons to emulate the some keys from the keyboard?

What brand is your mouse? Make/Model? Its a Blackhawk from Fortrek. I just managed to emulate the keys with the buttons using AutoHotkey.

I've used all devices and although PC controls are regularly better than console controllers, as others have stated the PC has lots of hiccups.
Emulation to key input lag, keys freezing up, mouse locking up, etc.
On the nvidia shield there is none of these, perfect simulation but no KB+Mouse.
The thing that gets me is how cross compatible everything is.
You can emulate Android on a PC, then use a controller to play. Or, emulate a keyboard and mouse on a rooted Android and pretend you're playing War Robots on a tiny PC.
Everyone has their different strokes.
But phones and tabletsnare garbage.
Can pick up a nvidia shield for as low as 120$ on Ebay.
Blanky advert out

I am planning to get around to seeing if I can get the APK to run on something like AndyOS or a similar linux/android desktop distro.

If any of you are playing it on a PC is it running on Intel or AMD processor? I'm just wondering what the minimum specs on the PC or laptop would need to be in order to run the game properly? I'm trying to decide between buying a desktop computer or a gaming laptop where I can use a game controller because the on-screen controls on my Android tablet are difficult to use. I have some arthritis in my hands and I thought a game controller might be a little easier on me. I've taken note of the Android emulators that people are suggesting and I'm excited to give it a try. Any suggestions? No I haven't done a search yet but I will. Thought I might get a more detailed answer by asking the question directly. Thanks for any advice.

Intel I5 CPU, 4GB RAM, ATI HD5450 video card. Since your running an emulator, this is one of the rare instances were an intel CPU might work better. Memu advises making sure "Virtualization" (HyperV) is enabled for CPU in the motherboard BIOS. Check if your AMD processor supports "Virtualization" (AMD-V) and make sure it is enabled.

Would a laptop like this work? I have to look into it further concerning virtualization being enabled on the BIOS on the computer but since I'm not familiar with some of the stuff I thought I would just put out a computer with its specs and see if anybody knew?
Acer Predator 17 Gaming Laptop, Core i7-6700HQ quad core processor (2.6 ghz), GeForce GTX 1070 8GB gddr5 video card, 17.3" Full HD G-SYNC, 16GB what supports up to 64GB, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD.
Or any laptop build for gaming with similar specifications.

That's beyond overkill for running Android games in an emulator, you would be set for just about anything you want to play in a PC game as well. Any desktop or laptop with min. dual core cpu, 4gb ram and either nvida or ati graphics should be able to handle memu+War Robots no prolem.

My thoughts exactly and I appreciate your feedback more than you will know. I thought it would give me something for some other productivity as well and you know what they say go big or go home. I figure really jamming gaming laptop computer and using a game controller with it using an emulator would really make it an awesome experience especially if I can attach it to a large 4K curved screen TV or any really awesome high-def TV no matter how big it is would be a really awesome visual treat. By the way I really enjoy your YouTube videos. Again thank you for the response.

It's really amazing what you can learn from watching the videos and it doesn't hurt that some of them with the soundtracks added are very entertaining.

Keep an eye on the footwork I was fortunate enough to get in touch with DFAD Audio through Pix (They did the main theme and the SFX for War Robots) & they were cool enough to give me permission to use their stuff in my videos royalty free with accreditation... super huge help for the channel to have a sponsor like that!
