So I noticed that the YTers are releasing videos about drones coming to War Robots. There will be a separate hanger specifically for them. It appears that they have this microchip thing that will be used to upgrade them. Thoughts? My thoughts are that it will be difficult for f2p players to get them.

I do like the idea that the drones aren't associated with a particular robot. You call on a particular drone as the battle develops. A firepower drone, a shield drone, etc.
I don't like the idea of yet another feature crammed into a game that already lags like crazy.
