Playing 100 or more ads a week should not count as F2P.

immortal while I agree that a lot of the lag issues are server side, I had to revise your post to take out the name calling of pixonic. This isn't a one sided issue; players can't name call each other nor can they of pixonic. Thanks. I agree with this. For everyone who slams Pixonic lag, Pixonic pay-to-play, I don't think you have a clue what it takes to make a video game with awesome animations, graphics, sound and trying to synchronize 12 players from around the globe playing at the SAME TIME in REAL TIME. I don't think any of us has any idea how much expertise it costs and money it takes to hire those experts. I'm not just talking expert programmers, but artists, audio engineers, network specialists. War Robots is simply a marvel of engineering combining high tech, programming and digital art. What makes you so entitled that you feel you should should be able to play it entirely for free? Anyways, I understand this msg will probably be deleted b/c its an anti-rant. This is such a cop out. There are hundreds of games that do this and only the low grade one are true ones I have issues with. Needed less to say I don’t invest that much time into them. Pix has been around for 6 years and have upgraded several times. If they can’t solve it just means that they’re either incompetent or have something else going on in the background. They have the money to do this. Their ads are stupid long attaches tl everything. They’re making too much bank tl let this be an issue. As of now the lags for me are back with a vengeance. While can live without it for a few days, I bought the operation pass and can’t use it in that time. With designed on seeing it to the end I won’t get my full value worth and YOU KNOW they won’t refund a single cent of it. But beyond that it’s the worst part of the game as it interferes with my success and in-game advancement. Pix is peddling a substandard product and it’s getting really old.

Since remastered has landed I have found a full proof way to resolve lag.
I don't play!
My "fast" bots all seem to be glued to the ground, ao mings fill the screen with ridiculously oversized white plasma whilst my Arthurs machine guns spit out tiny pea shooter projectiles. Cryos rockets leave a huge smoke trail that blocks your view of other enemies in the area.....

ѻﻭɼﻉthis is the best way to resolve the lag on iphone: turn down the brightness. Why? Iphones are much much better at 'burst' processing over 'sustained' processing. when the device is being used for a while, it tends to heat up. excess heat causes the cpu to throttle itself. This is because processors etc dont conduct electricity in teh same way at different temperatures. heat it up too much and your device cant get the same throughput. turn the brightness down, your generating less heat. look up 'thermal throttling iphone' on google. restarting your device etc wont really do anything as iphones dont really 'multi task' (well, they do, but only in specific circumstances) but turning down the brightness , especially on older devices will get you some additional playtime, and less 'lag' (which is really thermal throttling)

Definetly noticed an increase in device heat running remastered.
Just holding the iPad in my hands, I can feel the top left corner (where the off button is) getting quite warm.

The fix for lag is to go play a game with better programming, then all of the lag is gone instantly! Try and verify for yourself.

Lag is gettjng worse and worse. Idiot suggestions don't help either. Pixonic is just too lazy or incompetent to fix it

I just upgraded from iPhone 7 to an iPhone XR.....
Lag, crashes, general reconnecting issues...... Gone!
Same WiFi, same speeds.... just newer device.
I know for some this won’t be possible, or maybe you have the latest gear and lag is still there...... Just thought I’d share in case anyone else was in a similar situation.
Peace 😎

Occasionally my internet connection flips for a couple of seconds and I can not reconnect again although the screen shows it is trying. I checked accessing internet on same time and websites are accessible. I believe we should be able to connect an ongoing match even after crashes..... Edit : Lag still occur at rare times and I stop playing during those peak times.

I haven't had any severe lag issues in a while. Just a couple minor ones that went when I went near my router.

Am I the only one having lag almost every single match? It was bad before but now since the last update it’s really bad! I’ve done everything I can to resolve the issue but it’s still occurring. I play several games besides War Robots and I have zero issues. This is the only game where it happens.

Does losing the ability to DROP YOUR BOTS count as lag? I’ve had plenty of games recently where I could drop the first two, but then I was out of the game…otherwise, lag hasn’t been exceptional lately. As I’ve said before, I believe there are steps Pix is NOT taking because it would impact their cash deliveries to the Kremlin - and because fixing things is the ultimate low priority for them. At the same time, communities of all sizes are seeing unprecedented loads hitting their ISPs and their cellular infrastructure. This would be the same infrastructure the companies involved have already received federal funds to address…they simply refuse (mostly) to do it. The FCC hasn’t cared enough to act, and local ‘regulators’ often have an “understanding” with those companies that effectively allows them to keep the money, no sweat. Add into this the digital overhead of the household - daddytroopa’s original point - and the way local access (think neighborhood, apartment complex, co-op building, etc) is subnetted by ISPs…EACH OF THESE adds its own hit to net-traffic. Yes, extra speedbumps. MOST of which we as users can’t address effectively. Ogre’s advice, above, is boilerplate custserv advice for good reason: anything specific to the device that CAN be corrected without repair will be straightened out by those measures…and THAT is where the problem-solving actually starts. So…if the problem is your phone/pad/? Ogre’s got you covered. If the problem is internal to Pix, good luck to us all (I guess). If the problem is in between, become an activist - or don’t.

How are our old man eyes gonna see anything then 😹 I didn’t say it would make the experience better , just improve lag lol Thank you for the information. This has helped me. Also, Skirmishes in general tend to be lag free due to not having so many robot effects processing at one time. I believe the more different type of robot effects they add the more the game seems to lag in general.
