Wow full of spite and anger, I just cant see myself enjoying that. Also so self righteous we decimated this game be using what they give? I will never understand those that think like this, I will show you I will F me. I will torture myself to torture you! You must be fun to be around. Anyhow I do thank you for clearly stating your stance and I can except that I hope one day you learn to except others. Peace out. ETA just caught your line in your profile.... "Only here to dookie post" ?whiskey tango foxtrot? man why is your life so empty! It's actually a nice balance of hate and love. Hate most new bots and love the old ones and some new ones. I can respect the desire to play the older bots and builds. I played 6-pack for a long while about 2 years ago and it was loads of fun. I'm also happy to help think about ways to take down new meta bots with any type of older bots. I find a lot of joy in that. My Rayker was a super fun build while I was running it. In the same vein though, please be respectful of people that choose to run newer builds. You may dislike the bots they run, but they have legitimate reasons for why they run them, the first and foremost being that they have fun doing so. This forum is for players of War Robots, regardless of what gear they run. And the best way to beat these builds is to understand them intimately. Hearing from people that run them and even running them yourself (hanger x?) can do that. And TheDecepticonIdeal I agree there is the potential for hypocrisy in hating a build, then running it. I used to hate builds because I didn't have one or couldn't get one as quickly as others did. The only time I remember hating a specific robot to the point of not running it was the Ares. I wouldn't have a problem running it now. Maybe that makes me a hypocrite...but I've really just changed my mind on hating bots. I just try to find ways to beat them anyway with what I've got, much like you in your Carnages. Still, if I get one of something, there isn't an emotion that will prevent me from using it if I want to.

And yes, I've moved it to Rants as we've moved away from the original discussion of the Test Server. Not bad discussion, but it's a different thread now.

Killing reds is just better when you despise the bot they are in. Same with last scam modules. There is a satisfaction in activating the 「meow」 module and then taking that last chunk of HP.

The way this OP bot "protest", IIRC, was when a few of us decided that of we simply refuse to play the OP bot, then Pix won't make any money off of it and they'll be more careful releasing OP bs. Sorta like standing up for the balance of the game by not tilting it by going to the Dark Side. Once the robots weres balanced I was thinking of running it. Unfortunately that turned out to be a massive bust lol.

I think Overdrive is completely overrated. Slightly increased damage output is worthless if you're fighting titans, bots with high DR or last stand. Disguise looks like a decent addition that is comparable to Last Stand. Now, I think that Last Stand is bad and should be removed (as I dislike immunities of all kinds), but as Pixo won't do it, we might as well habe Disguise. 50% damage is a lot more than “slightly increased output.” Take a few hits as a Glacier Ao Jun and you’ll be mowing down Arthurs in no time. It does 15% more than a Thermonuke, at max level. Considering that I'd run at least a Last Stand, that's potentially 30% more damage. Thermonuke works even if the robot is undamaged of course. And the math gets a lot worse if you don't run maximized modules (like me).
I still think it's overrated.

Maybe not, but the direction of the thread definitely took a turn towards the lamentationary direction. As I said, discussion was good so there was certainly no reason to lock it. Just trying to keep things relatively organized.

By itself, I would tend to agree. Overdrive works best with at least 2 of them. The activation threshold moves to 60% and you can get up to 50% damage. Additionally, the 30% difference between the Last Stand and the Overdrive activation gives you more leeway to allow yourself to be hit without triggering the Last Stand. I have 1 that is almost maxed at level 5 and I notice it when it's on, but it's not a shockingly high amount of damage, especially when I'm shooting at Titans (which is the purpose of the bot I run it on. (Ember Ao Jun if interested)

I've got to say when running the Vits I mentally keep track of PC activations in the bots I fight. I managed to get a Ravana to burn 120 PC's before he took me out once, I was hoping for 160, and I regularly force Reds to use 40-80, often before I kill them. It's the little things that matter...

Weren't you running Vityaz and things against the Dash meta using head cannon that they were alien invaders due to their stupid appearance and unnatural moments? That was based af. How do you even make sense of this 「dookie」 official cannon and 「slow」 mechanical design from pix now? I love how you try to make sense of it with your head cannon so I am real curious as to how you explain it now. I'm just here for the ride to the bottom. Looking to be last man standing as the severs shut down shooting Tulumbas and Punishers at things at 38 kph.

Oh my God I just spent more than an hour writing my thoughts and personal take on all this and then boom, gone, before I could post. The forum/browser giveth and it taketh away. I should have written it offline. I was a fool. So upset right now. I will take a crack at it again soon when I have reached calmness I just can't even right now.
