There many ways to play this . One concept I was thinking of Capture the flag .In war robots It would be a time game 10min . You would have to hold the flag to win also if you destroyed all the opposit team before your team got the flag it would end in a draw also when the time ran out it would end in a draw .Also the captured flag would have to be put back in your base and not in the process of being put there to win This would also end in a draw .I thought this would be a cool concept to try on the test server . In case of a draw both teams would win something gold and silver ect . Extra note if your bot got destroyed Takeing the flag back to your base the flag would just sit there Until somebody else picked it up either team . If it got captured and brought back to the opposit team base you could recapture within enough time to do so Bots that would do well loki. scorpion ravana Phantom ect .Stealth flying bots could fly in capture the flag and fly out there so many things you can do this game

Though I like it because I prefer fast and nimble bots, I think it’ll have the same problem as the King Of The Hill mode they tried, which is that players that prefer slower and tankier bots feel left out because they are always trying to waddle to the action.
I played this game Battle Bay that has a capture the flag mode but there are 2 flags. A blue flag appears on the enemies side which you try to get and bring back to your home base, while at the same time a red flag is on your side that the enemy is trying to bring back to their base. Each time a flag is brought to the home base a point is scored and the flag reappears on the other side for another attempt. The asymmetry is nice because do you try to stops reds from getting their flag or do you go for your flag or shepherd your flag runner.

Did they not already have this about two years ago. Can't remember what they called it but 'Live' beacons kept changing and you had to go stand in them to 'capture it', then it would move. It was a bit of mess if memory serves, easy to win if you figured out the pattern and sat on the bacons in a tank.

I know a lot of players hated KOTH but I thought it was fun, especially once you figured out the beacon lighting patterns. That was when I was running slow bots, it's probably even more fun now that I run faster bots like Strider and Phantom.

You might try pitching the idea for Pix to do in skirmish. That way all hangers would be fast bots.
