Jeesh, Deadeye ! All that AM/Arthur testing last night got your science juices flowing? Phantom w/RH Falcon w/big slow feet Ao Jun w/RH Nightingale w/Spy, RH, and ARH Loki w/RH and ARH I'll have a great average except for the Falcon. Phantom - 60 * 1.065 * 1.2 = 76.7 Falcon - 50 * 1.2 = 60 Ao Jun - 45 * 1.065 * 1.2 = 57.5 Nightingale - 55 * 1.365 * 1.2 = 90.1 Loki = 50 * 1.265 * 1.2 = 75.9 (I think the reality of how the Loki is played means this is lower than it should be, but I'll stick with the forumula) Base is 58.0 Weighted is 72.0 Thanks! Interesting. And Loki, maybe dropped last with AdRH can screeeam. It's speed becomes more of a value than 75.9. I agree with your point above. I didn't fully realize how fast the Nightingale is. Whoa. Take your numbers and then remind your clan of how important it is for everybody to run the speed booster. Isn't it 20% if everybody runs it? Woof!

Some games this morning with sorry efforts by my blue team got me thinking. I saw multiple heavy slow (camper) bots and started to realize that my hanger is significantly faster than many of these. I realized that I've progressively made my hanger faster to compensate for the fact that I'm constantly running around (solo play only) trying to cap/recap beacons like a chicken with his head chopped off. I really wish that average beacons capped was a part of the stats collected/displayed on someone's player screen. Back on track...I wanted to gauge my hanger speed and see how it compares to others to see if I'm imagining things. Ok, this one's going to require some math and I'll lay out the ground rules. There are 2 speed calculations necessary here. Base speed and weighted speed. Base speed is easy. look up the unboosted, unaided speed rating of each bot in your primary hanger, add them up and divide by the number of slots (average hanger speed base). Mine is like this: BASE:Phantom - 60 Blitz - 55 Blitz - 55 Ao Jun - 45 Leech - 55 Hanger average = 54 kphThen is the weighted average speed. There are a lot of factors that play into this including ability improvements, pilot skills, ability times and cool down times. However, I'm going to try to simplify this. First, multiply all non-ability based, pilot skill speeds (yes, this includes Adament Road Hog...presumably, you know that this is a feature of your bot and you'll drop it when you're down a beacon and can use it). Road Hog, Spy, Ghost, etc. Next, (and this is where the simplification comes in) if your ability causes you go even faster, then multiply that by 1.2. Some abilities give more than 20% and some less, but this seems a decent average. This includes basic speed boosts like the Phantom and Blitz receive, dashes, rush or anything like that. We can argue about what this will be until the cows come home, but for the simple purposes of calculating a number, let's just stick with a simple 1.2 for now. Also, don't include the blue speed booster. Obviously everything will be 10% faster if you do that, but that doesn't help for comparison's sake. Also, round to the nearest tenth of a kph My weighted looks like this WEIGHTED:Phantom (RH) - (60 * 1.065) * 1.2 = 76.7 Blitz (RH) - (55 * 1.065) * 1.2 = 70.3 Blitz (RH) - (55 * 1.065) * 1.2 = 70.3 Ao Jun (RH, AdRH) - (45 * (1.065 + 1.2)) * 1.2 = 68.3 Leech (RH, AdRH, Legendary Pilot skill) - (55 * (1.065 + 1.2)) * 1.2 = 83.5 Hanger weighted average = 73.8 kphThis number is fake but it holds significance in that it shows that my hanger plays much faster than it's base speed. I'm interested to see how "fast" other people's hangers are. If you need help with the math (*cough*, ѻﻭɼﻉ , *cough*) post your base numbers and pilot skills and someone with a calculator will help. Well, no camper robot is safe after the Scorpi Boi is released. Time to retire me Snipers.

Well, I usually lose beacons to slugs and turtles...lol But, seriously.... Raven: 50 - 7.5% Ravana: 50 Ao Jun: 45 Falcon: 50 Tyr: 46 Most pilot skills are centered on toughening up my mechs, not speeding them up. I think the Raven RH skill is only 6.5%. If I'm wrong, that would be an unique skill number as I've ever only seen 6.5% or 10%. Base is 48.2 Weighted is Raven - (50 * 1.065) * 1.2 = 63.9 Ravana - 50 * 1.2 = 60 Ao Jun - 45 * 1.2 = 54 Falcon - 50 * 1.2 = 60 (it jumps) Tyr - 46 * 1.2 = 55.2 Weighted is 58.6 That is Cautious Pilot...minus 7.5% speed.

Most people don't add the AdRH because it's an initial beacon runner, but if you throw on AdRH, the weighted number jumps to 91.1. Also, as we've previously noted, the Loki numbers are undervalued. I've never seen an AdRH + RH Phantom, but I kinda want to now...

I thought mine was going to be too embarrassing to post but it comes up to a bloated 58.08 weighted speed. I don’t think dashes really count for that much speed. But there’s speed and there’s agility; dashes really add agility.
Also I don’t normally use speed boosters unless I have a VIP going.
Bulgasari 45 Bulgasari 45 Bulgasari 45 Bulgasari 45 Inquisitor 40

Always switching bots around, but this is my hangar at the moment...
Ravana w/ RH: 63.9 Leech w/ Legendary Pilot, RH, ARH: 83.5 Phantom w/ RH: 76.7 Ao Jun w/ RH, ARH: 68.3 Ao Jun w/ RH, ARH: 68.3
Weighted Average = 72.14 (assuming I did the math right!)

Oh gosh, here goes nothing:
5x Carny Base:
40kph ?
Weighted (RH + ARH):
40* (1.3) *1.2 = 62.4
So weighted speed of my hanger is 62.4kph ?
BUT, of you add the proper 66% speed boost from Rush rather than the 20% placeholder:
40* 1.3* 1.66 = 86.32kph ?
Think I did that right. I want my Gold Star for doing that by myself now.

here goes BASE Bullwark 45
Lance 33
Falcon 50
Tyr 46
Raven 50
ave 44.8
Weighted Bullwark 45*1.1=49.5
Lance 45*1.5=49.5
Falcon 50*1.2=60
Tyr 46
Raven 50*1.1*1.2=66 (1.2 probably doesnt do this justice as it can match racing Phantoms)
ave 54.2
I'm a bit on the slow side but I'm old so make up for it with good positioning(or at least thats what I tell myself)

Well damn, playing an all Vityaz hangar is paying off now! Simple math FTW! Woooooot!
Base speed is 42x5/5=42
Two have Roadhog. Two have Cautious Pilot. And one has Road Hog AND Cautious Pilot. (Don't judge, I'm a Vityaz Pilot, we go our own way)
Doing the math gives me an adjusted speed of (DRUM ROLL): 42.61
My Kid is the speed demon of the hangar, clocking in at 46.5.
