See Pixonic relies on that drive to become a meta player. I'm perfectly fine with supporting the meta bot / weapon team mates. They're dealing with the meta red bots, I'm running around trying to cap beacons. [shrug] They don’t rely on that drive, they prey on it. So you think it’s ok that the yearly price of being a meta player is more expensive than the average car lease? You are fine being a f2p player, that’s totally cool, but the game is p2w. Why play meta? In life, do you always have to buy the newest and most expensive cars? Do you always need to buy the most newest and most expensive phones? Clothes? Computers? So I get smoked every now and then by a Jun or Leech [shrugs] |

Do you use a car or a horse and buggy in real life? In real life if you save up can you buy a fast car or as soon as you do that do flying cars get invented? That’s more accurate analogy to War Robots. |

As far as I can tell it is pay to win now and was pay to win when Orkan Haechis were running around (that's when I started). I don't think that much has changed, just the bots that are dishing out the pain. Play if you like it, don't if you don't.
Pixonic obviously isn't a lovely, fluffy company, but what digital company is? Google and the social media companies don't sell expensive pretend robots, but they do quitely collect mountains of user data and cynically exploit it for all they are worth. We still all use them.
Lighten up mate.

Nice review of the game here. Very accurate description.
"Pixonic’s War Robots is THE WORST offender of pay-to-win games on ANY platform. And Pixonic encourages it. If you aren’t willing to spend literally hundreds, if not thousands, on bots/weapons/upgrades (NO exaggeration), you will only be fodder for those that do.
There’s a laundry list of bugs and dishonest practices including crashes, freezing screens, players not getting what they earned or even paid for. The most important...
Pixonic implemented a special queue reserved just for those who choose not to contribute to their pockets. If there are spaces to be filled on champion fields, no matter what level you are, you will be placed on the same field as high-ranking/high-power/cheating pay-to-win bully players.
AND if you choose not to play or leave the field without playing, they penalize you by TAKING YOUR RESOURCES-EVEN IF YOU’VE PAID REAL MONEY FOR THEM. Pixonic are thieves. Common criminals.
So instead of fixing their leveling issues by putting everyone on the same field, they choose to punish real players - this is the real character and quality of Pixonic.
Wait, it gets better! Even if you ARE a loyal paying player, choosing to support this garbage, Pixonic continues to introduce stronger bots/weapons. So, the hundreds of $$$ you just spent on the latest and greatest bots/weapons, will soon be obsolete.
And none of this has changed in at least 6 years since War Robots was introduced.
At the very least, level the field by BOT, NOT total firepower of player garage (5 bots and weapons). Each BOT should qualify for battles. Players abuse this by having a garage with 4 trashy bots and one indestructible bot with the latest, greatest and maxed out weapons.
But of course Pixonic already knows this and has chosen to cheat it’s players instead of doing the right thing.
I also find it interesting that this game is getting AWFUL reviews on all true sites like this one, but getting just shy of 5 stars on the gaming platforms? This cannot be a coincidence.
Bottom line. Don’t even bother. Total waste of time. Garbage app."
I once lost more than a thousand gold due to a lag. I seriously will not be surprised if lawsuit after lawsuit bombards this criminal game developer and they are forced to shut the game down.

Been playing for over 4 years. Not payed a cent yet wins 50% of my games.
I must be F2P&W50% and still having fun.
