Lucky ... most croak it after that sorry that's a toad ... no wonder you came back as "Newts have the ability to regenerate limbs, eyes, spinal cords, hearts, intestines, and upper and lower jaws!" "Newt knew to much to be stumped by so small a problem" (everyone will have gotten the monty python reference.... this one I think not).

Me! me! I want to join the bandwagon, so to say. Unlucky you, I got an apple, but then hair turned blond and grew very long. . . . huh?

It might be easier if a map selection was implemented so those who don't want certain maps can opt out of them. That would have more or less the same effect as removing maps - people would specialize to either long or short range setups and that would force everyone else to do the same. I understand the motivation for wanting this but can't see it - and don't want it to - happen.

Just don't drop into maps you don't like. Takes awhile with the randomizer to get the map you want, but everyone wins that way.
Not sure why we don't have more maps. They aren't hard to create if you have even a small amount of knowledge and skill for game design. Pix is probably spending the majority of their time plotting their next money grab though. Profit is king.

I want 10Au for every time, I read a yamantau and/or springfield rant. I would already have my Ancilot. Fully leveled...
Edit: Nice use of Caps Lock, though.

I can understand the drive for profit as I've been in production or project management most of my adult life. With that said, there are a metric ton of changes that could be made that would universally improve the game and still yield the financial goals set by the bean counters. I spent more money on the old MM by far because I enjoyed it. The pleasure factor for me has decreased quite a bit since they started with all of the changes. I'm not going to financially support changes to a product I don't like. Pretty sure I'm not alone.
Back on topic, removing maps is definitely not how you keep players happy.
