Lucky you, finding a T2 Cormorant! What's your tactics? It was there when I installed the game. There is a T2 M.A.O. on my Black Market now, but the Cyclops M.A.O. could be superior to the regular M.A.O. in every way. There is also a T3 damage upgrade for the Javelin on the Black Market now - the first T3 thing I've seen. I've been spending a bit on extra Black Market deliveries, until they want about 70k a delivery. Sting Nelly is almost too good. I have been trying to counter them with a Mangler Mite yesterday but alot of things have to go right to pull off the kill. I'm usually lucky enough to have powerful bots within firing range of them. Little Shon and Mite seem to require agile use - people seem use them very skilfully against me. A Tormentor Cormorant might be okay against Sting Nellys as it can move around and outrange them. I bought myself a Cyclops, it's strong but in no way invincible. It does look cool in hangar though:) Have you decked it out with upgrades yet? It seems to have a heap of room for them. Other than the impending Sting nerf that someoldman told us about, there may be a new Heavy (like the Tirpitz) Titan coming out in the future too.

I think the Cyclops MAO is just a skin, i found that upgrades i bought for a regular MAO are compatible. I havent taken the upgrades to T3 yet, but it will have a lot of HP when maxed. Also you could potentially make a stealth MAO with all the system slots. Dont know how well it would work. Seems to me the T3 boost to individual upgrades is quite small. But the boost from T2 to T3 with respect to a whole bot is significant. Piloting Mite is a rush, but not sure it's for me. I'm much better with a Mangler Nelly. I am well up for seeing a new Heavy Titan! 2 Heavys, 2 Lights? A new Natasha I finally gave in and played some War Robots today. So weird playing without control of the Y axis!

Also you could potentially make a stealth MAO with all the system slots. Dont know how well it would work. You're right. I thought it had extra slots, but I looked again and it doesn't. Thanks for telling me it works with regular M.A.O. gear. Seems to me the T3 boost to individual upgrades is quite small. But the boost from T2 to T3 with respect to a whole bot is significant. I'm not sure yet. The T2 upgrades do seem significant though. EDIT: T1 Reinforced Ammunition for Javelin does +85 damage. T2 Reinforced Ammunition for Javelin supposedly does +194 damage. T3 Reinforced Ammunition for Javelin does +425 damage. 4x T3 Reinforced Ammunition = +1700 damage, which is at least double the damage of a regular non-upgraded T1 Javelin. Piloting Mite is a rush, but not sure it's for me. I'm much better with a Mangler Nelly. I tended to get killed fast without doing much damage. My Mite now has two Stings until I can move around better. I am well up for seeing a new Heavy Titan! 2 Heavys, 2 Lights? A new Natasha Cormorant currently has two Heavies and two Lights, plus a Medium backpack. It flies fast with Heavy armor too, which I like. I finally gave in and played some War Robots today. So weird playing without control of the Y axis! Yep. I got the Operation Pass. Got the Legendary Pilot already but I've still got a way to go until I get the Ardent Blitz. Mostly just clocking in and doing my daily rounds.

I like this T3 Mite setup.
It can fire it's Manglers during a jump.
If we get another heavy with the current squad limitations, I could be rocking a Cormorant, Mite and (Heavy Bot).
On the extreme opposite of short-burst weapons, I've modified my M.A.O's Hammer upgrades so they're roughly firing 24-7... when one Hammer ends another begins.

Wow I stand corrected over Tier upgrades! So Javelin DPM will be over 100% when maxed with the ammo, because the rate of fire also improves as the weapon goes up a tier.
I was thinking solely about the increment of each individual upgrade. But taken as a whole, it's a significant power jump:
Base Mangler: 5.4s reload
2x Tier 1 Feeding Gear: 0.8s total reload reduction
3x Tier 2 Feeding Gear: 1.8s total reload reduction
4x Tier 3 Feeding Gear: 3.4s total reload reduction
That's a 162% faster reload ultimately.
But in this example the difference between Tiers is not too crazy in my opinion.
No upgrades to T1: 0.8s improvement T1 - T2: 1s improvement T2 - T3: 1.6s improvement
What do you think?

TBH, I think your at a level where you would gain a lot of value joining BoT discord.....most there are already T3, been playing long term, weathered the bad times, and know exactly what is meta, what is trash, and how to manage each map and mode.....yes, there is a second mode, too....very strange but I’ve p,Ayer it a couple of times.
They also have a test server, and desire p,Ayer base input before updates......
You will grow there....but not here, as I don’t know that stuff......also, I do not think they have a forum like this....IIRC I got on BoT reddit, than followed a link to be invited to their discord.....enjoy, my friend!

Not sure if @reroll was mentioning the guy in the video... T3 things seem to cost so much, even on the Black Market. I'm tempted to buy Premium... but there's two premiums to choose from. Hmm. Will just get the one I wanted. Running a cheap Tormentor/Hammer Cormorant, Sting Nelly and Hammer M.A.O. atm. I tend to play hard and kill reds fast, but tend to mech out fast too. My T1 Sting Nelly with Magazines can 1HKO a lot of bots. I think the Nelly only cost 150k EC on the Black Market, and I'm still waiting on some discounted Heavy Armor for it. My T2 Cormorant was only 1.5M EC.

Very happy with Sarisa Tirpitz. Syncs well with the Inquisitor... 1000m + auto-reloading. (Got cheap Magazines for the Inquisitor yesterday too.) Had to pay full price for Sarisa Armor, though.

You guys zoomed way past me....I haven’t played much, mostly due to having much, much more time and $$$$ invested in WOTB and War Robots....
I do try to get a few in from time to time, but it will be awhile for me to make BoT my primary.....good luck!

So yeah, just been playing War Robots this afternoon. It's colourful and fast paced and familiar. But now the targeting system feels so awkward. Just weird not being fully in control of the x axis. And as soon as the Arthurs & Mings show up, the game slows to half speed. Gonna play some BoT now.

I've been grinding up upgrades as I play around with different gear and combinations.
Stings have been knocking me down so badly that I've been slowly replacing all my armor with the Heavy Armor (HEAT) kind.

I'm trying to see whether I prefer Sarisas or Hammers on my MAO. I love the tinkering and experimentation in these types of games

Fired it up,for a few games. I haven’t played in a really long time but I have abt 15 mil EC. I just bought Corm. Running 2 Ravagers and the Corm. My bots are mostly T1 and my weapons are mostly T2. Controls feel weird gonna have to get used to it again but so nice to not have OP P2W crap ruining the game.

I just found out you can get Bully and Vulcan on the Black Market, but I already ended up buying 2x Vulcans of all things... :/ And they're not that good.
They quickly fire a 300m rocket salvo (that can miss fast bots) and then spend a few seconds reloading.
I'm running a rather fun 300m Heavy Armored Drop Bird Cormorant with Manglers + Vulcans atm. I need to drop into 300m and start firing. It's pretty good if I don't have a firing squad against me.
Sting + Sarissa is supposedly a good Cormorant build atm.
There's a T2 Nelly on my Black Market today. Only 1.1m with VIP. Just ground up enough EC to buy it.
Might go for a Speedy Stealthy Sting Nelly.
I rarely see T3 gear on the Black Market and it tends to cost a lot. There's only one T3 Hammer Magazine on my Black Market and it costs 1mil (750k with VIP).

Thank you, rags . I feel your sting pain... taking pains to stay out of the 400m death zone. I'm trying to see whether I prefer Sarisas or Hammers on my MAO. Any conclusions? Went with Heavy anti-HEAT Nelly again due to Black Market availability. Still waiting for a decent Light setup. Magazines on the Stings. Still waiting on cheap Feeding Gears for the Javelin (I'm using RA for now).

Oooh twin Vulcan Cormorant was my first build! (Yes I paid the money...) I think Vulcan needs a buff. Or alternatively, all feeding gear upgrades. I didnt get on well with it, switched to Sting & Sarisa. I think Cormorant needs ground speed to make Vulcan work. I bought both premiums - i think they make each other more valuable.

I got the second premium now too. I can grind money a lot faster now. Not sure if I should grab the T3 Hammer Magazine while it's still on the Black Market, as I'm not sure about running Hammers atm. The money might be better spent on T2 gear. A T3 upgrade seems to cost around 10x as much as a T2 upgrade, and a T3 bot or weapon might be more valuable atm. I'm using two T2 Feeding Gears and T1 Reinforced Ammunitions on my Vulcans. Magazines seem to be recommended for them too, but maybe that's more for Ravagers. I'm eager to try even more Feeding Gears for my Cormorant's Vulcans. I'm getting better at dropping into good locations and then flying to catch them as needed. Heavy Armors have made my Cormorant very slow on the ground. What is Sting & Sarisa like on Cormorant? I just got a third Sarisa for my M.A.O. off the Black Market, along with two Magazines.

I'm getting better. I'm going with Feeding Gears on my Vulcans now too. I've yet to take this upgraded Vulcan setup out for a spin but I think it's shaping up into a nice little Drop Bird.

You can use Sarisas up to 1000m range, but hard to hit anything that isnt standing still. I have found Sarisas most satisfying at medium / close range with the magazine and automation upgrades. Kind of like an Orkan / Tulu hybrid.

B.o.T. might still be grindy, @reroll , but it seems a lot less grindy than War Robots. I've been playing War Robots for almost a year (with premium + spending a heap on Gold, Black Market and Special Deliveries) and still can't afford Level 10 bots* nor many L10+ weapons (other than 'dirt cheap' Leadhose). * I have one Fenrir at 2.5 - as I still haven't been able to 2.12 it. I have a few bots at 1.9 (like my main hangar) but most are unlevelled. Constantly fighting 2.12 meta + max Titan hangars with underpowered bots gets annoying. Most people on this forum have much better levels / equipment than me too (though most have played War Robots for longer than me). The only good power I got from spending money on War Robots was a Titan.
