Yep! An extra Heavy Armor at T2 makes it a pretty formidable brawler. And I think 4x T2 Afterburners are required in order to get over 20m/s2 with Heavy Armors.
And something happened in my last match that was cool. I escorted the Martian Tirpitz to the drop point with my Bully (which lost it's shield in the process) and swapped over to my Tirpitz to begin the countdown... and then a friendly Nelly crawled over my Tirpitz and shielded it's body with theirs. ??

might stick with this crew. at least it can go out swinging vs higher level. Nelly is beast but it takes 2 spots and all my good manglers. put bully back in, I just like it n parfait convince me it’s good for SC. does at least as much dmg as my sting mite was doing anyway. try to harass corms into landing then beacon them.

Oh, but it’s so much fun to beacon Corms in flight - almost as much fun as shooting them down (don’t know what it is with me and Robobird). Taking on mediums 1v1 is fun, too, and yeah, I lose - but I win, too - more than I expect to, so I keep doing it.
Lights, I’m talking about here, my Shons and Mites.

With a Heavy / Medium / Light hangar I can only fit either a Mite or Bully. And I like the Mite a lot.
Ancile / Vulcan Bully is becoming a very good bot though.
And I love the Beacon weapon. Super fun. I'm thinking of going all Magazines on it.

That’s the thing about 3-slot bots: they squeeze lights out, practically...I’m trying to get along with 2 lights and 2 mediums. Learning my way around MAO - w/ Sarisas it’s great against Tirps and low-lying Nellies, but terribly awkward; it dodges poorly so I rely on distance.
This fast-Ravana wannabe is fun and tough - also Sarisa, with Manglers - and it brings the hurt effectively.m my score goes up a few extra hundred. I swap it with the Corm so I get decent practice on both. Like Hammers better than S. on them...I think
Running Beacon MRF, I like the idea of max reload speed, this seems like a nice balance
Other stuff...running lights with Sting and Manglers - Nelly, too: Fire the missiles, but KEEP SHOOTING! Extra damage is noticeable in score.
Hope everyone has a nice holiday weekend - if no holiday in your country, just pretend....
Soundtrack = Roxy Music - Avalon

Hammers are very accurate.
I'm thinking of swapping my Sarisa Tirpitz over to Hammers for a change of pace.
I really want the speed of a T3 Tirpitz with T3 Accelerators and T3 Light Armors...

It seems a T3 Tirpitz can move at up to 57 km/h, which is almost a 33% improvement in walking speed vs a T2's 43 km/h...

It's still not as fast as most other T3 bots though...

Can we get a counters list going? Builds that counter other builds Sarisa MAO: counters Inquizitor Sarisa Tirpiz in that the Tirpiz has a massive hitbox the size of a mountain side and can be lit up by the MAO out to 1000m while the MAO is just a tiny spec to the Tirpiz at that distance. The high mounted weapons of the MAO allow it to make use of cover as well. Even at 500m the MAO is fast enough to move from cover to cover minimizing damage while lighting up the Tirpiz. Hammer MAO: ? I don't understand this build. DPS isn't that much greater than Sarisas and Sarisas can be manually aimed outside of 500m and hit out to 1000m. Hammer Mangler Ravanger: counters Sarisa MAO. Much higher DPS when under 350m and it is a much faster bot than the MAO. Sarisa Tormenter Ravanger: not sure on this one. It out ranges Hammer Mangler Ravangers but I don't see the advantage over Sarisa MAO. Seems like a sub optimal build. I think Tormenters need their range reduced back to 500m and then a healthy buff. Think Punisher vs Motlot from War Robots. They would also pair better with Hammer too. Mangler Fulgar Mite and Little Shon: counter MAO under 350m. They are much faster and capable of disabling the MAO with Fulgar Mangler Fulgar Mite: counter to Sting Beacon Mite and Sting Nelly. Climb where they are and disable them while shooting their weapons off. No idea on how to use Cormorants. I would think a 350m Mangler and rocket build would be great at flying up to Sting Nellies and ambushing them with high DPS then fleeing to reload. Rince and repeat or am I off base on this? All I ever see them do is shoot Stings at me from the air.

Ppl do use corm like that but it’s really dangerous/suicidal cuz usually a couple bots will hang out together in “sting nests” and corm is fragile. Mostly corms stay out of apfs range and drop fire sarisas. Brawler corm seems to be considered a high skill bot. Used all my EC almost fully T2 the hangar above, just finishing up the bully. and I bought a Vulcan for it. Then I’m gonna work on my nelly and some more manglers.

But what does the Hammer MAO counter? counters anything in the 200-500m range. you can move in and brawl or stay out of emp/mangler/sting range and snipe. prob with sarisas is u can’t brawl at all. they still do good dmg but they’re very easy to strip.

Can we get a counters list going? Builds that counter other builds Good idea. I'm still learning to use what I have. T3 M.A.O. seems to be considered to be the best overall combative bot at the moment. It can use either Sarisas or Hammers. As for me, I used to use M.A.O.s the last time I played and they were great. This time I finally got myself a Tirpitz AND a Cormorant, so these are what I'm focusing on now. ...I'm also a sucker for the new Ancile shield, so I got myself a Bully too. I'm planning to T3 my Tirpitz, Cormorant, and Bully, along with Sarisas, Inquisitor, Hammers, Manglers and Ancile. Maybe a Mite next, as they're so much fun to play. Brawler Cormorant seems to be good against everyone 1 vs 1, but I often take on too many reds at once - more than my current skills can handle. I also still get hit by a lot of Stings and Javelins. Ultralight T2 Tirpitz with MRRR Inquisitor and MMRW Sarisas can blow up lights, but I still need to finish my upgrades. It does well against slow bots like Tirpitz, as well as landed Cormorants and MAOs and Ravagers once their sprints run out. I would like to try Hammers too. They used to be my favourite weapon. Sarisa Tirpitz tends to crank up a huge score as soon as it's dropped. Bully does well against everyone but the damage of a single HEAT Vulcan in a heavily anti-HEAT environment (due to Stings) isn't high. The Ancile is very durable though.

- Tirpitz:
- I'm currently completing a T3 MRRR Inquisitor (1x Magazine + 3x Reinforced Ammunition) as a possible counter to Light bots
- Brawler Cormorant:
- I'm passively working on a T3 RRRR Javelin (4x Reinforced Ammunition) as a possible counter to Light bots (it seems able to injure some of them in one single shot), as well as allowing me more time to devote to skilled brawling.
- RRRR only seems to exhibit 11.11% less DPSC than FFFF (4x Feeding Gear) - which is the highest DPSC setup and allows for one Javelin every 8 seconds.

what’s your Vulcan setup? I went WRRR On my Bully I'm using a very similar setup... MMMW. I've found Weapon Armor to be required many times. Word on the Discord is that it's easier to hit targets with Magazines as more rockets are fired. They take slightly longer to fire though.
On my Cormorant I'm using FFMM. Two Feeding Gears allow the Vulcans to fire twice before takeoff. I am currently protecting the Heavy Weapons by taking flight during reloads (and when Fulgured), which hides them from Mangler fire. Replacing M with R's can help fine tune the firing synchronisation to other weapons (and takeoff) better, but the timing difference is very fine. I've experimented with various combinations of Feeding Gears, Magazines and Reinforced Ammunition so far.

That makes sense, cuz sometimes I just miss the shot completely lol. It’s like firing a shotgun blast. Sometimes my bots just don’t turn or turn way to far it’s like the joystick gets stuck.

I feel like I’m sinning whenever I play War Robots now. Like I have my nice BoT wife at home but I’m sneaking out to be with this dirty War Robots prostitute. Playing against leech, Ravana, mings uhhg it just feels disgusting. The stingfest is starting to piss me off tho.

Yep. Took me a while before I became good at using Vulcans. I would miss a lot of shots with my Cormorant. I have bought a lot of Vulcan upgrades now and I might go back to Reinforced Ammunition to see what the practical in-combat difference is. The stingfest is starting to piss me off tho. Same. I'm looking forward to their nerf. The mountains full of Sting Nellies aren't the only problems but even the Stings at every corner. And it can be very hard to deal with Sting Nellies and Sting Mites with only walking bots as they can crawl up and over obstacles and remain under cover the whole time. My bots are getting better at mountain climbing, though.

Hey, y’all...feels like I’ve been gone forever....
Finally got the simulator to work (no idea *why*, just opened it again a few days later, there it was...sheesh.... so I’ve been playing with the upgrade combos myself: finally started getting weapons blown off, so now everything’s armored, but studying still.
Not sure I really ‘get’ counters...Mite and Shon remain my mainstays, not just because they’re fun, but because they’re effective, but I do try not to trade bots, that’s silly.; past dozen matches, I’ve played the entire time with just those two. Decent scores, but non-stop fun!
Have been playing less across the board: I seem to not be around when y’all are, and vice versa, but have also had extra RL to deal with, too. Won the Nodens, and the Blitz, but not all the Pt, I just can’t stomach War Robots as easily when there’s BoT, but cut back on a lot of things for a bit. Messing around with the weapons, too: mixed load-outs turn out to be not pointless (mostly) - Sting-Mangler Nelly ha seven surprisingly fun and effective, but T2 upgrades have dried up almost completely, so that’s gonna take awhile.
Good to see everyone again

Welcome back, Koko Bop!
I've not been playing as much either but I've been looking for you in the Squad box.
I'm working on my T3's now, which is a much slower grind, so I've been trying to relax and pace myself.

I’ve seen you there a few times, but you’re always off fighting.... Sorry! I've been grinding a lot while (more than) half asleep. I saw you online just now though, but then the server crashed (is it undergoing maintenance?) just as I went squad with you. I'm ready to squad and eagerly waiting for the game to start working again.
