Thanks, rags. I was there when they made the announcement and got even more interested in having a Bully. I really the Mite atm though. Since the sting nerf news came in, I’ve made a Quad of T2 Tormentors, running them on my Lil Shon and Mite, just to see how useful they might be in place of the Stings. They’re actually pretty good...but then, I don’t set out to blow weapons off, I am out to put the bot down, and I’ve been able to do that with reasonable speed and grace: somehow managed to shoot down THREE Corms in one game - up from my usual 0-1 - like a dog, howling at the moon...with bullets. One late game, I somehow managed to jump my Mite ONTO a Corm *in flight*...I rode its corpse all the way down... Anyway, I’m satisfied: one of the taco guys said Torm is being “restored” to where it was before its nerf, and if that’s the case, then Torms will be that much better. My concern for the Stings was range beyond 350m - Torms provide that, so no worries I've got Quad T2 Tormentors on standby too. I'm not sure on the best builds for them yet, but love the short bursts I get from using Automation. That is excellent how you managed to jump onto a flying Cormorant. Feel free to ride mine sometime too (I usually just follow you around at anyway). I'm rather curious how good the Bully will become in combat with the new buff. By the way, this super rare and exclusive bot we escort around in Steel Convoy is called "Martian Tirpitz". There were a few other types of Martian bots too. I would like one.

I think/hope it might actually be pretty good with a hammer and mangler, that’s like a mini ravager. Torms prob be used most on corms and then nellies although I think torm ravager is an underrated build Koko Bop epic moment hopping onto the corm, nice

First week back, does anyone know if/when the new week’s leaderboard starts? I have stopped playing War Robots. Stealth mangler-mite is just so much fun to play. High-risk/high-reward. I love mugging Sting-Nellies of their weapons. Reducing Sting range from 400 -> 350m I think is a spot on adjustment, with a slight reduction to accuracy - too much loss of accuracy may be a nerf too far. Tormentor buff is needed; I’m not sure if a 10% damage boost is enough. Tormentors used to have a 1000m range (which was too far!), so this doesn’t represent anything like a a return to it’s prior camper’s delight. My best damage-dealer is my Hammer-MAO. I am not accurate enough with Sarisas. My Cormorant flying skills leave a lot to be desired.

All we need is more maps and more hangars. I want to run all the bots and builds and I need multiple hangars to do that. Just make hangar selectable at game start like War Robots and only allow one hangar to be played per match. No, don't do hangars in the idiotic way War Robots does it! Have a number of active bots, and then you can select which to deploy next. Some limit so you can't deploy all you bots, only up to some (power/type/whatever) limit per battle.

No more this War Robots "I need to have 2 of this bot because I want it in 2 hangars" money scam bull?dookie?. Or do you mean it is already like this?

First week back, does anyone know if/when the new week’s leaderboard starts? Hi! ...I do not know if/when that'll be reset. I'm pretty new to the game, though I played it once a long time ago.
My Brawler Cormorant is still practicing to be the smallest, most unseen Cormorant during Steel Convoy: A friendly blue Cormorant located it and I managed to escort it without a single fight, hugging the walls and snow as closely as possible.

Disclaimer: I played BoT during the beta, so I am fortunate enough to have some T3 gear.
I stopped playing because (1) not enough players, and (2) you couldn’t remove enhancement modules without destroying them, so difficult to experiment.
Both recently now rectified. I am having fun trying out different customisations. Getting stuff to T2 is good enough to play and experiment, and is quickly achievable. The jump in stats from T1 to T2 is generally the same as the jump from T2 to T3, however upgrading to T2 is 10% of the cost of upgrading to T3. There are only 3 levels. There are no magic powers.
The level of customisation gives the variety and interest that goes a long way to compensating for the currently limited number of Titans and weapons; though not the lack of maps.
Saïd experimentation is especially useful because there is (hurrah!) no obvious narrow meta, just what suits your play style and preferences.
Paying money for stuff is a short-cut, not a requirement for competing at the highest levels (my skill level, and lack of in-game patience, will be the limiting factor). There is no item currently available for rm only that is better than what you can get for free.
For those, like me, who played the beta and sadly gave up on the game - now would be a good time to give it another go. For those who haven’t tried it, why not swap a morning’s War Robots for a morning’s BoT.? What do you have to lose?
Down-side: with the still small player-base, many still learning the ropes; and only two maps: it can sometimes seem repetitive. But the good games are really good!

T3 is a huge old climb....T2 now consists of 3 Mites, 1 Shon, 1 Nelly, 1 Ravager, 1 MAO. Now Iâm out of EC, so none of those will get any upgrades anytime soon, but 1 Mite and 1Shon are âfully packedâ, just waiting for a couple months of relentless saving (only 12,000,000 each w/ the cost reducer) while trying to beef up the big ones. Rerollâs disappearance hit me kinda hard: my family and close friends are all dead, and itâs been hard for me to make friends for a long time. He felt (feels?) like a friend to me, and Iâm kinda reeling today. Too many lost friends.... He may be back. Was a week last time I think. We are here for you bro. You all got me thinking about this Bot game. Seems cool. Just donât think I can do another game atm. I appreciate the sentiment, man, thanks I hear you about not really having the stuffing for TWO games: in my world, War Robots is losing the playoff between platforms: when you consider that the same minds who produced War Robots went on to produce Battle of Titans, you can (okay, *I* can) really see the many layers of improvement of BoT over Walking War Robots. In hindsight, comparing the two, it seems more and more obvious that the things that are really wrong with War Robots today are entirely the result of Mail.putin.ru and their money-river scheme; the old-timers (older than me in the game, that is) who talk about âhow it used to beâ describe a game that is MUCH MORE like BoT than War Robots is now. I feel my time paying War Robots is about over (oops, Freudian slip...âplayingâ): too many magic setups required to even last a match, much less stand a chance at winning. We talk about whales, but I canât blame the people who want to and can afford to keep abreast of the magic setups, but more and more I feel like a fool for wasting so many hours playing a game with such 「dookie」ty outcomes. Which reminds me: @ogre was involved with a BoT website that either never got off the ground, or crashed and burned (once I found it, I found thereâd been no posts but for spam in a couple of *years*. Iâd love to know what happened to it - if it got replaced or just abandoned....

Torms prob be used most on corms and then nellies although I think torm ravager is an underrated build Koko Bop epic moment hopping onto the corm, nice I swear, I am going to start recording matches - the gameplay is *awesome*. I wasn’t even trying to jump ON it, it was starting to take off, and I jumped AT it. Next thing I knew we were airborne... Based on what I’ve been hearing about the history of nerfs, it seems pretty clear that Tier 1 is hit hardest by them: @ the next level, they are actually useful, by my own experience, where T1 Torms did NOT make the grade. As I get more EC I’ll be bumping more of them and loading them out. Not that there’s anything wrong with Manglers, but I get WAY too close with them sometimes, and my aim gets screwy. UPDATED to add: I’ve never seen a Bully in play - or a Vulcan, AFAIK. Might be a nice bot, might be fun to play, but...under the current circumstances...I’m not *buying* any gear at all. The boosters are fairly priced, and offer great value IMO so when it shows up in the market, I’ll consider adding one. Though, for the record, the cash price is very fair and reasonable (again, my opinion). Just, fewer dollars to stretch. Demosthenes: jumped in to accept your friend request, but it’s not my gaming time yet - I’m still waking up...we’ll squad soon, for sure!

Cheers Koko Bop. It’s nearly my bed time I’m saving all my monthly games budget (£20) for VIP and Premium. I’ve seen a small number of Bullys and perhaps one Vulcan. I will wait until they appear in the market.

At this point, I may decide against paying for the current Op: Pixonic seems like less and less of a playable game every day, and I get much more mileage, in every sense, from BoT. The better game is much more wallet-friendly....
Rest well, sir - catch you later!

Other than the Vulcans I run on my Brawler Cormorant, I rarely see Vulcans.
I think I recently fought a Bully ...with a Vulcan? though. Apparently they do well with such a setup as they can block with their shield and then fire their Vulcan every 5 seconds or so.
I think I've also seen at least two Cyclops M.A.O.s in-game.

Well, I just bought a Bully and extra Vulcan via in-app purchases. >_> I equipped it with a previously bought T2 Ancile, my Mite's T3 Fulgur and the Vulcan with my unused T2-T3 magazines. Let's see how much fun it is to play...

I've only started using it but I'm finding it difficult to use - to both block hits with the shield, and run sideways with the shield, as I'm unable to see the reds or where I'm going while I'm turned sideways. I think I'm going to like the buffs to it. It currently has a removable shield with it's own set of purchasable Armors. It also has a Sprint ability like the Ravager and MAO. It's different, but I still think the Mite is more fun to play.

Nice!
I played my first Steel Convoy with Ancile Bully and it seems really good at escorting the Martian Tirpitz and staying alive during it.

Looks cool though and it’s T3. that’s nice when u buy things in this game they’re already upgraded Yes, purchases are T3, however the purchase doesn’t come with any upgrade modules; and in the case of Titans they come with T1 weapons (which is fair enough). Still very good though. Also, for the undecided: there are no upgrade wait times for anything. Like titans in War Robots. Hmmmm ...
