Have a Golem on my older account so I took a look at it in the current state. Still has the same HP and no module slots, but shows a new skin coming called Vermillion. Got some screenshots of the bot without weapons below.    |

But why tho? I get taking a bot out of the store (they don’t want people playing it), I can get putting it back in (they changed their minds), but putting it back for only a week, what’s the point? Put it in or take it out but this is weird.

I have 2 Vermillion G.I. Pattons form 2018 or early 2019. |

Put it in or take it out but this is weird. They’re buffing it to have Stealth, 500m Teleportation, and Blackout. |

I know this could be hard to swallow, but maybe, just maybe, Pix does listen a little....and knows about those of us who wanted a second chance on the discontinued, now classic, bots.....man, I hope for Boa and Schutze...... |

I just bought 5x Golems.
I like that I can fit an entire weapon family on the same bot.

The featured build in the vid was the classic build as well as my preferred build when I cut my teeth in this game Thunder, Taran, Magnum One of my favorite moves with this build was to pin a guy up against a wall, wrap him up with all those weapons, and just hammer him. As long as you kept forward momentum, the dude was just completely boxed in and rendered helpless.  |

I already bought mine! Equipped it with a tazer setup, the vanilla colors match beautifully. Tickled a Falcon, until it fried me with its Ember. Was fun, can recommend.

Its about time .
Did this Silver bot do above average damage to Ao Juns and Leeches ? Did it claim the ONE RING for its birthday present precious ?
I would imagine removing that threat to innocent whales ASAP if it did that .

The Golem was removed from the game before those bots appeared. some legacy ones exist but do not have a lot of HP, no abilities, and no modules. The bot could easily be reworked to make it viable again. I like that it’s profile is low. I think it could hit stealthed Loki’s but have not tested that. |

Any idea why it was removed ? Because it was soooooo OP... seriously though, it was cheap and quick to level. It's the only bot with a hard point for every weapon class, it was relatively swift (in it's heyday), durable, had a low profile and could corner shoot like nothing else. I think it was the only bot to get a major-ish re-design during it's tenure, the light and medium hard point positions were swapped after some early update. It was the knife fighter of choice at the time for low and mid level leagues. With module support and an ability, it could possibly be relevant in higher level play, IMHO. But a bot that inexpensive isn't good for pixo's bottom line...again IMHO...

Any idea why it was removed ? Lots of old bots are just clutter. They were probably removed ultimately to improve the new player experience, to remove a bit of early game complexity. Now there's just Cossack to buy after Destrier, and just Vityaz as a legacy Ag medium. Why just these (Golem, Schutze, Boa), maybe just random chance. I guess they had a last-man-standing showdown, and these bots lost, while the green Russian bots remained standing. Foul play was probably involved, but that's how it fell, so they were gone from the store. I personally think especially removal of Schutze was a pity, it'd have a place as it'd make one swift Flux platform until you could get a 2nd Flux  |

And you can make only so many bots with 2 heavy slots. players needing more weapons and upgrading, that's just a happy side-effect of inevitable power creep. After Haechi with 3 medium weapons combined with that mobility, avoiding power creep was essentially a lost cause, and Spectre really sealed it. |
