Spawn raid. Spawn raid. Spawn raid. Spawn raid. Spawn raid. Spawn raid.
Whatever team has fire superiority (and there will always be one courtesy of terrible MM algorithms) on first drop wins. End of match. Every match has devolved in to a mindless rush for enemy spawn.
Shame, every patch they put own seems to push the game that much further down the 「dookie」ter.

I always experienced that whoever had the most beacon grabbers win. Whenever I drop in my Trident Fury, no one goes for the middle beacon.

Spawn raid in higher leagues (Expert and up) is pretty rare in my experience. You know you are getting your butt kicked when someone does manage to pull off a spawn raid. In the old silver tier days with the old MM, spawn raid was the norm. I'm not saying what you post is not true, but the factors to winning a match can get more complex in higher leagues. Superior firepower always helps but sometimes even it isn't enough against a well coordinated squad.

Shenzen in particular feels like a completely new map now. Now that the side beacons are within equal reach of both teams, the game is a lot more dynamic than before and massive reversals of fortune aren't uncommon. You can easily turn the tides by forgetting about center and focusing on the side beacons.

I noticed this on the test server and commented on it in my review form. When I was running test, spawn got raided EVERY time I played the map.

In my experience 1 in 3 matches go this way, even in the old MM, unless it's Yama or SF because of the size of those maps. I watch youtubers and it happens to them too. As soon as one team starts botting out the other will start rushing in. It is particularly upsetting though when you start 1 or 2 players down and face a full team. Makes it hard to win facing those odds.
