Why not just freeze the upgrade timer on people purposely degrading the game for a predetermined period of time?
Let's be honest, you make more money inconvenincing 1 customer than you do by allowing that 1 customer to muck up the gameplay of 11 others.
I propose the restriction come into play for: <50k damage in silver 3 <60k damage in silver 2 <75k damage in silver 1 <100k damage on anything higher
For every 5 games with less than 1 beacon per game average the silver is reduced 50% until the customer reaches the minimum average of 1 beacon per game over a 5 game average.
There should be compounding rewards for winning game streaks etc but with limits restricting bot levels by classes in each league.
To accommodate customers wishing to fight in lower leagues I say we make visible a damage counter. At the onset of reaching the minimum the customer can then eject but when they do the domination bar drains at a handicap depending on the number of players on each team. The ejected player then gets the -20 but can only drop to the top level of the tier below the highest tier they've reached (ie gold player can drop to silver 1).
I believe this satisfies both sides of the equation and will hopefully help keep my games more consistant.
