So about the only good thing I got out of the event so far aside from a Cryo is enough comps to finish a Nightgale... and I gotta say, so far I dig it. Still getting used to it but I deffo see the potential.
I have 2 healers I usually have in my lineups: Tyr is my short-range one, and Weyland is my long-range one. That said, I never really managed to get satisfactory performance out of the Weyland, so I am thinking of shelving it, moving the Tyr to my ranged hangar and putting the Nighty into the short-range one.
What do you guys think? My Weyland is only 1/7, so not too too many resources or time spent on it.

Go for the nightingale, the fact that you can move while while healing and also suppress people is better than being a sitting healing duck .

Yes to replacing Weyland with Nightingale.
However, the more I play Tyr the more I rely on it. It’s a guaranteed major player. The Legendary Pilot skill plus True Ace and Shield expert makes it a Hell of a lot tougher than it seems to anything but rockets and flames. Add in a few more defensive skills and some armor kits and even at 1.9 it’s a Helluva survivor.
I run Scorges with Shredders and it covers 200 to 400 m like a boss. Acceptable from 400 to 500. It fits a combat medic role as good as the Mender does. Managing modes well had turned it from OK to outstanding. I stay healed, my Blues stay healed... and Reds either take a lickin or sit there stickin.
All that to say I don’t know that relegating to a long range hangar is the beat idea. I don’t play your hangar and it may be better for yours. Just sayin I’d think about it.
IMO, YMMV

IMO, YMMV The only thing that bugs me about the Nighty in LR hangar is that its ability only has a range of 500m, where I've found I really want 600m MINIMUM for maps like Canyon, Yam and Springfield. I do rely on my Tyr a lot (Pun T + Shredders) so we'll see.

This is kinda ironic because I kept setting aside the Tyr project and opted to build Weyland and Nightingale for 5th hangar.
I'm putting my Vipers on Weyland.. I'd give that a go. Good melee performance, good range for support. Can't really think of a better option besides Avengers, but those are so cliche and Vipers unarguably look better on the alien bot.

Nah, use your Weyland to hunt Arthurs if need be. I'm working on a Viper Jun just to hunt down French Mings because they need to be more vigorously hunted. That's it's primary focus unless opportunity sees other primary targets. I like to play for kills, not beacons so that's why lots of my comments seem strange to you beacon hustlers.

Weyland has its niche roles like bottom center on moon, or tucked away in center valley. I run one with exodus in champs and its mostly ao jun food. If I had a nightingale and it wasn't so ugly I'd use that instead.

I'm new to the Nightingale but I suspect replacing a Weyland with it is a must. Get the Legendary Pilot if you can.
Does anybody know what the quickest healer is? It might be the Nightingale. Even at 2.4 it can mostly resurrect a Titan.

In competent hands, I suspect the Nightingale might be OP. But instead, I'm using it. It's kinda beasty/tanky. It spends the majority of its time not doing damage so you have to be careful being in it too long. I'm experimenting with pilot skills RH and ARH. I suspect ARH be might quite the surprise. Zoom directly to wherever you need to be... Usually I run Mechanic but I don't see the point with this bot. If you make it into the air again you are kinda insta-healed. I had a good time this morning hovering over a Kid in center at Valley. He was taking a lot of shots but I was healing a lot of it back.
I'm running 1.10 Cryos/Rime and that seems to synergize well with the bot. Plenty of burst damage, hide, and fly again.
