im sitting at 165 gold, spent most of my gold on random spins for road hog skill for my phantom I spent over 750 on random spins and said 「fluffernutter」 it and spent the 1k for RH for my Phantom. The same skills kept coming up. I'm just going to spend the 1k if there's something I really want. Sometimes it works to take the crappy ones and level them up then retrain later. I've done pretty well on retrains and random spins. |

Hmmm. Been considering Olga, Yang or Tommy and have about 6k. But it’s ve always hesitated to invest too much into individual bots cause the cycle out so fast. Will have to think about this.

This event is kinda a good idea, but I don't need anymore LPs right this second.
Honestly, I don't get why they don't just make LPs always available in a Store just like bots and weapons. Do the gold sales from whales re-rolling for an Legendary Pilot really add up to that much RM? Seems like a needlessly annoying user interface design for nickels and dimes. I wonder if really they are so obsessed with gacha purchases that they just did it automatically without even considering the alternatives.

I like this Legendary Pilot weekend because I've almost finished leveling my Tyr and weps. for said Tyr and I've been waiting for Sigrun for a while. Other LPs can wait as their bots are further down my list of priorities and I can hoard my Au in case I see something pretty I must have in the meantime.
Oh yeah, It would be nice of them to drop the price a little. I'd buy all the ones I'm missing (Jad, Tobias, Stanislav, Basil, Adam, Amalia and Kang). Wishful thinking.

Mindread will be offered again, so You can wait. I was lucky enough to win a trio, but I only use one. I might be retiring him soon. (Too many parasites in the game) And I wanna try out other bots which I'm sure I'll enjoy more. |

So far I only have His skill, Temp Sharpshooter and Temp Damage boost and it's a beast with just 1.11 Temps. Get behind cover that allows you to shoot over it and you can hold down a section of map all by your lonesome, in many cases.
Put Lockdown ammo on it and Ao Mings become your own little target practice dummies. (maybe not maxed ones... but you can still put them in "I gotta land... NOW" mode.
Don't get me wrong... you still have all the weaknesses of old META against new META with this build/Pilot combo... but it can definitely pull its weight.
IMO, YMMV

I agree, tempest fury with a few pilots skills is great. Basil will get the Fury and I'll use the standard pilot in my inquisitor or something.  Now I just need to get a Thermonuclear Reactor to go with the AC and Lockdown Ammo.  Here's my soon to be ex-fury pilot.  |

Speed shooter is next on my list... I've never gotten that skill for any of my Kinetic shooter builds but I want it with this one. I can see it being helpful more with this build than with Avengers and Punishers since I don't feel too wasteful spinning up the Avenger/Puns... whereas with the smaller mag of the Temps... I feel like every bullet matters and don't like to pre-spin into a wall due to lost damage potential. However, many times my window of opportunity to induce pain on the Reds is limited; if it got up to speed, faster, it would help. Plus, it would help with the CQB instances when they eventually send a fast bot to come get me.
Also... if you don't like TDM much... this build helps make it less painful.
IMO, YMMV

Lol, I'm suprised I don't see this build more often, it's been a pretty rare sight for me. It's like you said, speed shooter's definately worth it on this build. I have Speed Shooter Avenger and Sharp Shooter Avenger on my lead hose lance. I was going to get both on the punishers too. But I think I'll switch Speed Shoot Avenger for Sharp Shooter Punisher. You're far more thoughtful than I am picking these skills. |

Ok, by the numbers:
There are 23 Legendary Pilots currently available.
The Legendary Pilot Event lasts 72 hours
That means there are 9 normal opportunities to get a specific pilot
There are 3 Pilots offered each time in the Training center
I refreshed 7 times using ads
That's 16 total refreshing
With 3 Pilots each time
Theoretically, that's 48 chances to get a specific pilot
Number of pilots wanted: 1 (Sigrun)
Number of times I saw Sigrun: 0
Amount of Au before the Legendary Pilot Weekend: 8.5k Au
Number of Pilots hired: 0
Amount of Au spent: 0 Au
Amount of Au right now (7 hours before the end of the weekend): 11.68k Au
Total change in Au: +3.18k Au
Conclusion: Great event for hoarding Au (unless you're foolish enough to refresh with Au, which I think was PIX's scheme anyway), but a poor event for getting a much desired Legendary Pilot.
