What's your preference and why?
Trident/trident Trident/zeus Treb x4 Trident/treb Zeus/treb
I have all the weaps and even upgraded them to lvl9, but as upgrade cost and time goes up, I need to decide. Currently using treb x4, but missing the trident action. If you have or want a butch in the future, what setup would you use and why?

I don't have one but have found the 4 x Treb an absolute horror to play against on Yam and Spring. Should be good on Shenzen too, but not encountered that.
Probably fairly useless on PP and DC but any of the set ups will struggle on those two.
I've personally thought for a while that a Trident/Zeus set up gives you good options - almost like two carnages packed into one - but it doesn't seem a popular choice.

At 20s Quick Draw, I reckon trebs are most suitable to that timing and can damage naked bots pretty well. But I would prefer a double trident combo because I'm still not a fan of far range bots. Zeus can be played on a carnage more effectively since it has a 10s speed buff and a shield against tridents, and the 20s QD doesn't do anything for Zeus much. Trident Zeus doesn't seem that good or bad. You will be on the Zeus for most of it, and the butch doesn't exactly have good mobility compared to a Zeus carnage. Nashorn treb might work out, but you will have to pick your targets well. At 0 seconds, treb shot and nashorn, then 9s nashorn, then 18s nashorn, then back to an almost full treb shot. The Butch is shorter than a fury, and some shots might not clear certain slopes. If I have both, I will pick a fury over a butch. But if I want to play a butch, double tridents or trebs or nashorn treb, just my personal choice over what I think is most effective for the bot. Nashorn treb and double trebs will be very weak against a galore of lancelots and galahads, but very strong against mid range bots and Griffins. I didn't pick Zeus because I think the Zeus is best suited on a mobile bot that can flank open maps. Realise most of this is just theory at what I assume is 9/9 games, which is close to where I play in.

Currently using treb x4, but missing the trident action. If you have or want a butch in the future, what setup would you use and why? I've tried a wide assortment of guns from 10 - 12 on the Butch and it's just not a very strategic bot. Albeit, seems best when running treb quads. The fact is that it is so slow that it can't get out of it's own way and the timing on the draw isn't quite right for anything except quads. If you get flanked at even the slightest angle (and you will), you are a sitting duck and you can't easily move around cover to target multiple opponents. The Fury is a better choice and sadly the Natasha may outperform it as well. I know your question was how best to outfit the Butch but IMHO it's not worth it until Pix makes some changes to it. Currently mine is on the back wall with all the other junkers collecting dust. Everytime I go into battle and see somebody on my team with one of those I assume the rest of their hanger is some kind of experiment and just start to accept in my mind a loss.
