From a professional standpoint, because the developers sorta endorse this form(there's a link to it in the game). I wouldn't get your hopes up. They need to be able to appeal to a broad age group here. As a parent who used to cus like a sailor, you learn to express yourself in other creative ways so your not polluting.

would be cool but it's never gonna happen, keep dreaming
besides, do we really need that here? I've been raised on forums where just about anything goes since I was about 13, am 27 now. I'm not sure the, i mean the, forum for a game that kids play too is the right place. I don't want some 10 year old that googled the game to get a fistful of 4chan lite memes and whatnot
the censorship does feel a bit heavy handed, namely the mods getting on to people for arguing, but i read a post in another thread that made me realize pix links to this forum and kids likely wander on here. We can still type out the bad words and we know what they are, so 「fluffernutter」 it. I'm fine with whatever. At least we have somewhere to discuss the game with everyone

I don't think we'd be leaning to make a sub-forum for that in the future
Reasons being that 1. It's against the forum rules 2. Most of us mods/admins do our foruming in a work/school setting 3. Like with most games who restrict ages to 13+ (or 17+ for some apps), little kids still get past it, then when that happens, we'll get angry parents blaming us for being a negative influence to their kids. 4. This forum has a wide range of age groups and demographics 5. If you want something like that, ask someone to invite you to the rumored War Robots afterdark line chat

^ Why not? I'd volunteer to be one in a heartbeat for those perks handed out by Pix themselves.

Sorry, we are trying to keep it focused on the game. And many folks have mentioned it, if you want adult stuff, go on Discord, LINE or FB. There's an War Robots Adult group on FB. And some of the LINE groups are just as salty.
And the moment things are "uncensored", it becomes so much more difficult to moderate in terms of flaming, insults etc... Previous forums run by Pix, and the FB Players' page do not have any restrictions, and things there can become so toxic that practically no actual talk of the games goes on sometimes. In the words of Strayed, "it's cancerous".
This forum has only survived this long and not exploded because we have tried out best to keep it friendly and safe for all concerned. And no offense, but it's ironic that folks want an "adult section", and yet adults should be able to control themselves, be civil and polite. Just because it is the internet doesn't give us the right to become salty sailors, especially on an open forum.

We aren't running this forum because we are getting free stuff from Pixo (though the occasional gift is really nice, and we're grateful to them for that) but we are doing this more for the War Robots playerbase and community. When the original Walking War Robots wikia started up, and though I wasn't there at the time, I can say the original intent was to create a knowledgebase for Walking War Robots players; never was there the reason of "we do this for free gold and premium". That still applies on this forum and its current mods/admins. We manage this forum as a community for exchanging information between members, as well as acting as a "medium" for communication between players and Pixonic. Never did we start and manage this forum with the intention of perks

While you're at it, keep the community apprised of exactly what pix gives out and on what basis. You'll be sure 10 other guys would fill your gap.

I'll go on record in saying that I'm in favor of this idea. I was a mod at a Scottish soccer forum many years ago, and "Slagging Match" was the almost-no-holds-barred forum. Not only was it a really fun place to roll up the sleeves and banter, but it left the rest of the boards largely free from that element. When people had a place to go to have a go at one another, they felt a lot less inclined to use the rest of the forum to do it.
I'm the minority opinion here, of course, which is fine. I understand my experience is just one amongst several.

On the old Nexus War forums, they had a similar sub forum known as, IIRC, The Pit. One of the rules of the forum then became that you could not, in any way, mention or imply what was being talked about in there anywhere else on the forum.

Whoa buddy, let's keep talk of you and 10 other guys filling his gap to a minimum. What would ur mom do if she knew you talked like that to people on the internet? I guess we'll find out since I'm going to tell her when I see her tonight. Funny bc it's true. And this is exactly why I don't agree with the +18 forum. From what I have already seen on the forum, there is little proof of discipline among most of the folks who would use such a sub-forum to keep it just within that sub-forum. I'm gonna be nice and give you one informal warning now. Unless you happen to be notyetnotsosoon 's dad or relative that was uncalled for and unacceptable.
