Luckily I was practicing earlier this week how to dash to the three ledges on the upper parts of the chasm. Managed to get two kills and assist with a third from this spot. Admittedly they were pretty weakened before I killed them (Halo/Glory isn't that great from that distance), but I still managed to tie up the reds defending the bridge beacon until my teammates turned it.

I love it when I make a Jun pilot land their mech in the ravine with my Guang. Loving the Quantum Radar!

*laughs in MK2 Taser Hover* All hail Hover! I haven't practiced using the Hover on the ledges yets. I assume you can't actually fly all the way up from the bottom most one, but I imagine you can hop from there to one of the higher ones under the topside bridge, then fly from those back up and out of the canyon.

Viper Shredder, or even Dragoon Marquess build, would suit that spot better I bet... hmmm...

In this case, I just accidentally fell off the bridge and then knew how to salvage it, but it might be helpful too when I'm getting charged by an unsurvivable enemy (Leech/Ao Jun). I have definitely been been dashing off the cliff and to the bottom side of the beacon bridge more and more to escape charging metabots as of late.

Got one built, still upgrading the weapons for the second one, but then with the shotgun nerf, that's what I'll have on both my Striders.

I fell into the ravine one time with strider, and as I was falling I hit dash for kicks, and to my shock stuck a landing on a sloping ledge. Pure luck.
I had dragoon marquees setup so I sniped away.

Due to the Guidance operator skill being so useful for that type build... I have not tried it on the Strider since I have the skill on my Lancy-Poo and my only 4 Sparks are on my trusty Guidance Op Blitz... I really should give it a try though.

Definitely my favorite build. And honestly I keep avoiding putting my Last Stand on it and it actually seems to work BETTER for the most part, because I end up playing it smarter. Guidance Operator is a must, for sure. You dash around too much not to need it. I have already been levelling a pilot for my 2nd Strider and yet to win it. Beginning to think that it's better to switch my weapons before I try to get it with random skill rolls. Seems like it always comes up on my non-taser bots but never when I have them equipped.
