Five slots, going up, although very slowly because I play only casually now to clear two daily objectives. I'm on Android. 

The Fury gets swapped for TT all at level 8 fairly regularly depending how I feel.

Borked MM, so I play considerably less.

Voted - 5 slots and not progressing. Actually, i am stagnate, baically, bouncing up and down over a 150 point window.

5 slots and able to progress. I run so light to *avoid* gaining league points too quickly.

I also have a Trident Fury, Taran Ancilot and Thunder Carnage that I can sub in as desired, but usually don't.

However my clan mates have 8/8 hangars and play in Silver and to me the main (former) appeal of this game is to play with them, so to me 'progressing' sounds about as good as 'increasing the amount of hacksaw blade jammed up my ?bum-bum?'. YMMV.

This was mine when I was playing with another clan mate in Diamond 3 games.

5 slots and pushing down a little. Am lower than where I initially placed but have been to the top of d3 and bottom. 

With the new scoring, how do you manage that, with wins at 54%? With old MM it would have been easy, one -20 loss offsets five +4 wins. But with new one, what do you mean? Are you always last in your team, win or lose, or what?

Prior to change I was yo-yo-ing between Diamond II and Diamond I; had been up and down 5 times.

Since change to leagues I have slowly and steadily progressed to the middle of Diamond I.

Games are better now that a higher proportion of players on both teams play to win. My play-style has always been to play for the win and favours fire-power and mobility so the old league system didn't suit me particularly well.

That was 3 days ago. Right now I have 4.9 kills, 550K DMG, 78% win rate and using 7/8 Trident Fury, 7/8 Aphid Taran Griffin, 8/8 DB Griffin, 8/8 Plasma Galahad and 7/8 Orkan Pinata Galahad.  

Last place win + last place loss = -6 points. 

If you place last consistently (capping beacons) then you can maintain a 60% win rate and not progress (in the current point spread). 

If you remain in the 3-5 range, win or loss, your still "falling down" all be it, more slowly. 

On android silver, the difference between a mid silver and high silver hanger isn't big for 5 slot players. I estimate that it is about 15 days to get there (for me) --- and I don't expect to win a lot in that time. 

What is interesting, and I hope the model proves, is that having fewer slots will leave you in a place where you have a high loss rate but more high placements (1st and 2nd) -- 4 slot players will end up rubber banding. 

I came to the conclusion that I don't need the model to be 100% accurate. That I don't need to account for all the nuance of fittings vs map, I just have to have the idea there and represented. 

As an example. An all furry team should win vs an all knifer team on canyon and springfield, the knifers should win on dead city and power plant, and yama and shenzhen should be a toss up. Is this a perfect model of how the games will play out... no there is a lot more nuance to that. However enough samples over enough matches with enough hangers should produce results that model reality.
