Has anyone been put into the tanker matches? Does it exist or is it a myth? I have not seen anyone talk about their experiences there.

There's no such thinog as tanker matches. That is what i was thinking. So, all this talk of a tanker queue is just smoke and mirrors to keep people from tanking?

You wont know you are in it...You will just get a high degree of quitters in games. The other people who will be playing normal leagues with the occasional flake.
Tankers wont figure out the threshold...So tank away! Faster you will get segregated.

I actually tested to go to the tankers league. Last week in 3 days, I lobbed potatoes and left at the 7 minute mark for 100 games. No ditchers and I actually met 1 on my Gold 3 clanmates be random. In fact, almost all games were full on 6v6 unlike my common 4v6s in Diamond 1. Pushed back to Diamond 2 and then I started tanking again, except I lobbed potatoes for the entire round versus 3 minutes. Dropped to Gold 2 and same matches. Competiton was all level 25-30. I only saw 4 tankers in the 'tanker' league.
The tanker league was all BS from Pix. It would take them too long to write code to create a 'separate' server.
I used all fair bot setups in the lower tiers that reflected my opponents setups. So I didn't use and Trident Furies or DB Griffins that would bring an imbalance in the game. I used Punisher Griffins, Plasma Gareths, Punisher Galahads, Thunder Carnages and an Aphid Pinata Patton while in the lower Leagues.

I tried to go to that legendary ditcher league too, but apparently it's a hoax or it's not implemented yet. Ditching systematically only results in me going down on the ladder, which is actually much more enjoyable: Compared to Silver I (where I was right after the new MM came), Silver III has MUCH more full 6vs6 matches, pretty equal leveled opponents and MUCH less Fury/Lancelot

Tankers wont figure out the threshold...So tank away! Faster you will get segregated. Ok, that could be a smart move from pix, a tanker league that no one will know that they are in or may not exist at all. As far as i know there is no evidence that the tanker league exists. You would know that you wer in the tanker league becuase there would be notable differences- 1 large number of tankers in your game, 2 a huge disparity of bot levels (in normal games we see many differnet league levels but there would be a much smaller player selection in the tanker league thus much more diversity is leauges as the MM tries to create matches), 2.5 and/or long wait times as the MM tries to form an appropriate tanker game from fewer players, 3 you will have needed to have tanked several games recently to get to tanker leauge. So i will still ask the question, has anyone played in the tanker league or suspect they were? I would bet there are players out there testing the system.

The MM just puts you against others who might or might not be 「go solo」ing at that very moment. 「go solo」ers have to play themselves out...So you may have games that look totally normal...When you get caught up in the other line you won't be anywhere near me. I could care less whether you try to get there or don't believe it. All I know is that I am getting pretty solid games right now. Reap what you sow.

Yes, I was thinking that it would be too complex too implent as well. They have other issues they would fix before this one, multiple hangers, blue bot health bar, separate play mode based on bot level. . . Also it would require an new way to sort players and rank them based on ditching/tanking. They would need to have a new scoring system that would override all else and then keep it a secret from the players. The experienced playes would notice immediately when they were put into the ditching/tanking league.

Gold 3 -> previous low-mid silver Gold 2 -> previous mid silver Gold 1 -> previous high silver Diamond 3 -> previous trash gold Diamond 2 -> previous low gold Diamond 1 -> previous mid gold Expert -> previous high gold Master+ -> previous top tier On iOS. Android not so much (maybe shift everything 2-3 leagues).

I could care less whether you try to get there or don't believe it. All I know is that I am getting pretty solid games right now. Reap what you sow. I completely ageee, we have seen less tanking and that is a great thing. I hate tankers. Many of us have played for years and we notice even small changes in the game. We would know imidialy if we were in the tanking/ditching league. But no one has been to the tanker league. If you have noticed a less people tanking, the tanker league players would see a huge number of increased tanker games. They would be all concentrated together and tanking like crazy. Very noticeable for those players. No one has discussed if the tanker league exist at all. We just assume that the tankers have stopped tanking or are playing their own tanking league because we are seening less tankers. But there is another possibility - there is no tanker league, players just stopped tanking because pix said there is a tanker league but did not bother to make one. Has anyone played in the tanker league?

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TANKER LEAGUE Darkangel - i agree. No tanker league. I just want to keep the conversation on topic and restate the question. Also, i want to hear more about how far players went to test the system.

I have never played a bronze match. Huh? You shot up straight into silver? I never played a "bronze" match under the new leauge system. Started above. Under the old MM i played plenty of bronze.

I have never played a bronze match. Huh? You shot up straight into silver? The current league system is barely a month old (with the new matchmaker being a month older than that). The entire player base got sorted by the new system. Many veteran players have never seen the lower leagues in the new system. Some shot straight to champion league even. The previous matchmaker was very different. The tiers were unofficial, based solely on gear, and there was no rewards or rankings for performance beyond the usual end of match gold, silver and experience.

This morning I had a person systematically destroying all his bots at onset of the match. Is that a try to fool Pix that they played the match but got destroyed? I wasn't doing that this morning, but if you see someone ejecting from 4 destriers then charging center beacon in an unarmed cossack, they are trying to drop their league score. *edit* can confirm: no ditching league exists.

I think it's ironic that I have more 4v6s playing competitively than I had when I was screwing around.
